She's a Rainbow & You Can't Always Get What You Want, Rolling Stones, MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey, August 1st, 2019; No Filter North American Tour, (New York area)
I was not a big fan of the Stones back in the 60’s or 70’s but over time have come to enjoy their music a lot. I’ve never done drugs or drank and I’m 74 now. I guess It takes me a while to appreciate good music.😳😬🤔
Uh, yea...I guess what he looks like is more important than constantly not playing the chord changes correctly. Three chords in this song and he can't even get them right. Must be nice to make all that money for a gig and have no one notice you're not even playing the song correct. Whatever :)
I was there with my mother! My first time seeing them. It was a birthday gift from my mother. Excellent seats. A beautiful night and great crowd. Thank you to The Rolling Stones for a magical night!
The Stones have always been a part of my life. I saw them live in 78, 89, and 94, and I feel emotional reliving my youth seeing this recent clip of them. Life is fleeting, and age creeps up on you fast, but the Rolling Stones are forever.
@mzgotti2u mzgotti2u me too! I would sneak into my older brothers room, when he wasnt home and play his stones albums. Unfortunately, I didnt get to see him at 12. I bet your parents didnt know at the time you were at the concerts.
I was lucking to see the rolling stones thanks to a very nice girl friend who I once had , it was the Steel Wheels tour in 1978, here in California, they were Awesome. Thanks Mary !
I remember listening to rainbow with my friends in my room, everybody on acid, and we let the 8track run through 2 or 3 times - a satanic majesties evening
Mick would not look the same if he allowed himself to get fat. He just wouldn't be Mick Jagger. Keep Rockin', Boys ! I saw you during the Zip Code Tour in Columbus, Ohio May 30, 2015. I was with my good friend Sylvia, who died two years later on December 22, 2017. I Miss You, Sylvia ! She's A Rainbow makes me cry, because I would call Sylvia "My Rainbow Girl", she was such a good friend.
My condolences, I seen them 3 times zip code, but I missed Columbus. I wish I would of made that one lol because I used to live there, but I did Pittsburgh, indy, and buffalo. They were awesome, I got to go 4 times this tour even got to go pit 1 in Philly a life long dream that came true. God is great, sorry for ur loss,I just lost my cousin, to suicide. The stones helped me get through this year because it started rough.
A lot of people ask themselves how much longer the Stones will be going on. There's a very simple answer to that question: As long as people keep buying concert tickets. When the Stones would have to play in front of half empty arenas, Jagger would call it quits immediately.
Hell yeah! I almost forgot about that song! Good old Mick forgot some of the lyrics but can you blame him? The back up vocalists and the piano player helped him out!
I am sure I have asked this before so sorry for repeat.. What camera did you use? My Sony RX99 was too jumpy and not great sound.. But of course it could be user error..
What would actually happen if She Smiled Sweetly would be the top voted song? Or Can You Hear The Music? I don’t think they even know what records they’re on 😝
I've never seen Mick Jagger holding a guitar, let alone playing one. It seems so odd. Like facial hair on a Rolling Stone. You don't see that either. Obviously I'm not a Stones fan. He probably plays guitar on stage a lot. I've just never seen it.
@@Fuq2 - Mick Jagger did? That leads me to my next question. I always thought Mick wrote all the lyrics and Keith wrote the music. That not correct then?
@@jake105 That's pretty much the formula for most of the albums, but in Keith's book I remember him specifically giving Mick props for coming up with Brown Sugar.
@@Fuq2 Mick wrote the lyrics in Australia during the Movie Ned Kelly ,while Keith, had the idea on open G,for the riff, and then they workin on it together...Jagger and Richards you know...
Mick my nigga ummmhmmmm I think I need to find my niggas as in my friends and family sure and surely goodness and mercy too blood thicker than water depends where you get the water
WTF? Am I hearing background noise, people TALKING during the performance???? We just saw them in Denver, and at least everyone in our section (306) were enthralled, dancing and cheering madly! This was HISTORY, you ignorant potato heads (redundant, I know) who probably do not have a musical bone in their bodies and know nothing about music of the '60s or even what real Rock and Roll is, was, and will never be again. At the very least, even when I am watching a band I don't love, I SHOW THEM THE RESPECT OF LISTENING QUIETLY! WHY did you go to the concert???????
Yes,now that the tour is over I'm depressed, they helped me big time this year my cousin/brother/best friend committed suicide and if not for the 4 concerts of the greatest rock n roll band ever! I would of went crazy like I'm starting to now lol. Long live the rolling stones!
What on Earth would we do without the Rolling Stones? Nothing would ever be the same again! My first album was theirs when I was in the 7th grade in 1963 and I am still in love with these special men and their fabulous rock & roll. No band can ever be better! Keith is The Guitar God !!!
Don't be too fooled by that ! Mick is at ease hobnobbing with Princesses & and down& dirty blues players ! He's a very multi-faceted bloke . He looked genuinely relieved right at the end , that he hadn't messed up 'She's A Rainbow' !
