She is quite outstanding. She does sing timeless classics, and also song which are inspiratiobal. She emanates a positive vibe. Its odd that the compiled video songs aren't in order. The last one, Ave Maria, was her semi'final offering, and should sit between the opening audition, and the talent show final, Nessun Dorma. It ought to finish with the astounding Ebben. Ne andro lontana, one of the most difficult arias to master. Great reaction video by the way. Look forward to more.
You clearly did one of the most genuine and sincere reactions I've ever seen about Amira. Indeed, everyone wonders how she was able to sing so well and to sound so mature, at such a young age. I presume the best answer would be, "she did not know it was impossible so she did it"... 😊

Amira has already recorded several albums, winning two diamond, two silver and two gold records. From the age of 9 until today, Amira donates half of all her net income to her charitable foundation to, among other things, build playgrounds in poor schools in South Africa. I suggest reacting to the video of her singing in English at the age of 13 “Amira Willighagen ~ Live in Concert ~ Amazing Grace”, with 32 million views. It is the most viewed video of Amazing Grace, sung by a female soloist, on RU-vid.
Amira is the rarest of rarest diamonds in this world for sure. She is simply spectacular and a beautiful precious heart as well. Great reaction. Amira is always Amazing. She is a gift for humanity. Not only talented, but humble and she raised a foundation to build play grounds in very poor zones IN Southafrica and other needs where she donates half of her incomes. Always worried and pleased to help through the gift of her voice.
Amira was a talented long distance runner already at the age of 9 years old which she was during Hollands Got Talent. Long distance running develops bigger volume lungs with gives great breath control. By the way Amira was self taught at 9 years old from watching RU-vid video's. She never had singing lessons.

The aria Amira sang age 19 was Ebben? Ne Andro Lontana. She does sing classic cropssover, musicals, hymns, etc. Fluent in three languages, she has sung in around 10.
"O Mio Babbino Caro" ("O my dear papa" comes from the Puccini opera "Gianni Schicchi" (written in 1918). It is nowadays something of a showpiece for operatic sopranos. You should see her performance of it from 2014, with Andre Rieu. "Nessun Dorma" ("None shall sleep") comes from the Puccini opera "Turandot"; it was written for a Tenor (Pavarotti was famous for singing it). Amirs sings it one octave above the written score. It was her final performance on Holland's Got Talent - and won her 50,000 Euro plus a trip for her whole family to Las Vegas. The "Ave Maria" she sang for the semi-finals (in Latin) is the version by Gounod, to music by Bach. The 2023 performance was "Ebben ne andro lontana" ("Well, I will go far away") from the opera "La Wally" by Catalani, written in 1982. The performance at the end "Ave Maria ", she was coming off a bad cold with chest infection. She is not only an absolutely God gifted singer,. She is also an absolutely incredible young woman in every respect. You might even be interested in what else she does when she isn't singing like an angel. You mentioned that at one point she looked like she was going into a trance. Where that really shows is when she sings songs of faith. It's as though she is no longer there but, standing in the presence of God, singing directly to Him.
