Valentines Day AKA Lara's birthday AKA Tomb Raider Remastered release date is finally upon us! Here I play the first level of TR1 and give a little bit of my first impressions on the game. I'm so excited to be playing as classic Lara again.

Now that i played it for myself to look very up close i can tell you that the sheet music on her piano is her own theme song :)

I remember my brother allowing me to play around in her house, while he played the rest of the game. I was a super excited 6 year old at time and I can still recall those feelings. Thank you for sharing this.

Gonna be honest, I really didn't like at all how the game looked in the trailers. But this looks beautiful! Actually want to get it now.

there's been a lot of improvements since that first trailer! They really should have done another trailer but I hope you'll enjoy them if you play them!

Wish the artists knew basic art like using a screen font instead of a print font.. stuff like that.

oh damn, it does look really nice, yeah you're aren't the only one who tried to avoid the surprises revealed before the release date so to speak lol, but yeah it does look awesome, i guess if i were to try this with the modern controls i somehow would not be used by the modern controls, but perhaps that could change if i were to get the remasters, it does look beautifully amazing and so is Lara, this is gonna bean interesting sight to behold ^^.

The modern controls have the 360 camera which is really nice but otherwise I much prefer the tank ones, it's what I'm used to. But yes the remasters are beautiful! I feel very fed hahahaha

@@jayoneta oh yeah as i forgot to mention i am certainly looking forward for how the second game remaster looks like as it's my favorite as well since you spoke of the secrets which i will admit i do enjoy the secrets on that game and somehow it made me thought of an interesting idea, since the secrets are known to these dragon statues i somehow imagined if each secret can have a unique item based on random ancient relics, just as a collecting variety, that would be awesome if there was a future Tomb Raider game that could look into that.

after playing TR1 and UB I had mixed feelings, levels too dark and in the case of egypht, even saddly decolored, greece had almost invisible keys by how saturated some textures were that made the sprites for some keys and gears hard to see, speaking of egypht, some of the props were gone only in the remaster, probably a bug, also hear the music less often in UB compared to gold... the modern controls also look like an afterthough, might as well not release them

Oh the Greece keys, don't get me started, I was so mad! The controls definitely needed a bit of tweaking, I just don't think they work very well in the grid layout

Was waiting for your reaction! I couldn't stop switching back and forth between the graphics and I couldn't decide which controls I wanted to use...sill not sure!😅😂 I love some of the iconic jumps with the old controls but I fall off of stuff all the time haha. Loving it so far!
