Since my last Patsy Cline video got 1.3 Million views (which... omg?!), how about a little more Patsy? Thank you guys again so so much for all the love! Been listening to Patsy's songs for 50 years. Never heard anyone even close to this young lady.

Roger that! I'm 73 and for years anyone hearing me say "The Woman" knew I was talking about Patsy. I just, today, found Casi on RU-vid doing Crazy. It blew the roof of my heart off. I was stunned. I just now listened to this one and am double-stunned. She is, by far, the greatest of all, with Patsy's songs. No one comes close to her. Through the years I've heard music from many sources that, even though it may be their original song, I've felt that they didn't quite get there, didn't open the song up with all its power. Never felt that with Patsy. Just went back to some of Patsy's songs and must say that this Casi girl out sang Patsy! I never thought I would speak such sacrilege. What I'm hearing isn't just the beauty of voice, but it is she is actually singing the songs like she is truly feeling every word. And, she's a redhead to boot! Heart be still...

I've been a singer all my life and I know that the only way a singer can really sing a song and be good at it is the fact that no matter what you are singing you have got to feel that the words to the song have some meaning to you. You must feel the words or you will never have people believing that you feel what you are singing. This little gal has that, you can hear it in her voice when she sings and somewhere in that song has real meaning to her.

My thoughts exactly. I had the good fortune to not only hear Patsy sing in person, but also to meet her backstage, thanks to one of her cousins being my shipmate, and he got us backstage in Long Beach, CA after a Grand Ol' Opry tour show, just a month or so before she died. Patsy was so gracious and kind. One of my best memories of my Navy days.

@@pattyfarghaly1821 - there was a bar north of LA, where country was the only music played. They had a small stage and often there were jam sessions of the country artists of the day, unannounced. I saw George Jones, Ferlin Husky, Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, many of the greats of the late 50's - early 60's, all for the cost of a few beers. There was often a convertible in the parking lot, that had silver dollars on the hood, under multiple coats of fiberglass, a pair of longhorns on the grill, and a saddle on the tranny hump. Cannot for the life of me remember who it belonged to, although I knew at the time (1963 - 1965.

You are living your dream and we - out here - are living our dream through you… Please don’t stop and don’t just become a Fad like everyone else on RU-vid.
