I loved how she remembered all those stinging words he said to her... the truth hurts, how she chased after him, broke up his family, she is the mistress. Yes I know he was the great manipulator but she made all those choices and had no qualms in having a affair and felt no sorry to his wife and daughter. She finally came to her senses and is lucky to have RICH parents who will continue to love, support and spoil her.

That's karma for both of them. You can't build happiness on another womans tears.

I know there are some who feel badly for the mistress, (because that's what she is) I am not one of them. While she is young, she's still old enough to know better. She sat there and watched how this man treated his wife of many years and disregarded his daughter and used her to get money. She knew he was a bastard and yet she wanted him anyway. She was stupid, and being stupid over a man, especially one like him has a price to pay. And no she didn't break up his family, he did that by being a no good, money hungry, cheating scumbag. But she is an accomplice, in that she knew his was married with a child when she chased after him. What goes around comes around. She learned the hard way, that she's NOTHING special.

While he's throwing her shameless behavior in her face with his venomous accusations, he should remember a few things as well: he's older, he was her superior at work, he was influential and powerful, he didn't say 'no', he didn't transfer her to another department, he didn't report her illegal se***l harassment at work to HR, he never refused or rejected her advances, he slept with her repeatedly, bought her a place to live, and together they created a child because neither one of them took precautions to prevent that from happening. She didn't force him to marry her - her father did that to protect his family, their reputation, his daughter even though he despised the cheater, he still allowed the marriage to his daughter so everyone could save face. Yet his accusations put all the blame for everything on her. The very first time she flirted, he should have shut her down in such a way she's know without a doubt she was being inappropriate and could be fired with her reputation in tatters. Yet, he puts all the blame for it all on her; his arrogance and ego won't allow him to even consider she kept pursuing him only because he never stopped her; he liked it, he liked her, he liked the attention he got from her, it fed his always-hungry ego and it made him feel even more powerful. He's a serial predator; he cheats, he moves through new interns at work at an alarming pace and even when one of those former interns tries to warn her what he's like to save her from being hurt and used the way she was, and that she'll be replaced as soon as the newest intern catches his eye, she didn't listen. Now she's out there in the dark alone, in labor on a sidewalk all by herself, until not just his ex-wife drives by, but his former mistress with her who tried to warn her that he was a snake in the grass. And they are the ones who stopped their own plans, took care of her, got her to the hospital in time, contacted her parents and even stayed with her so she wouldn't be all alone while giving birth until her family arrived. Her poor excuse for a husband hasn't earned a thing and doesn't deserve a thing. I'm so hoping that when she tells her parents she's made up her mind that what she's decided upon is to divorce his lying, deceiving, illegal kickbacks in hand for shady business deals fanny. I want to see her father put him in his place and his greedy parents as well. That her dad made him sign a marriage contract before he'd agree to them marrying was a brilliant, strategic move. Knowing her dad's business savvy (he isn't wealthy because he's dumb about finances), the cheater's plan was to get his in-laws' money eventually even if he had to marry the mistress to do so. But that marriage contract the father would have had his legal team write up would be rock solid and a thing of beauty. It probably states unequivocally that hubby gets zilch in the event of divorce. It was his daughter's money prior to marriage, and it resorts back to his daughter and her alone if they divorce. Dad isn't a fool. Even if he disapproves of the husband, he didn't want his only child/daughter shamed by being an unwed mother, so he would have agreed to the marriage but he would have also protected his daughter through it all. If they divorce, I'm hoping he gets nothing which means his money-grabbing parents who are counting on their money as well get nothing. Wouldn't that be an eye opener for them! I'm also willing to bet Mr. Know It All never told his parents about the marriage contract because that would mean admitting another man was more clever than he and that other man holds the Ace in this card game. He would rather die than tell his parents his little scheme got shredded the moment he signed the marriage contract. Had he refused to sign it, had he refused to marry the pregnant mistress, her father with all his money could have ruined his career, gotten him not only fired but blackballed from ever being hired in that field again, destroyed his reputation because of the con man and cad that he is, which would have reflected right back at his parents who would have suffered the same reputational demise. If she just told her parents she wants a divorce, he's worse off than before they married because now he gets none of her money, none of her parents' money, and he's got a child to support and raise even if they don't have shared custody, he'll be financially responsible. In the end of his little game with this rich gal, it might end up costing him and not embellishing his own financial status nor his always-have-their-hands-out-for-money parents. Her parents won't poison their new granddaughter's character and moral compass the way his parents would have and if she returns to their home to live with the child, they have no obligation to allow his parents into their home to even see this grandchild. Can you imagine having a grandchild being influenced from birth by *his* wretched parents? His mother doesn't know how to speak in an inside voice, she is always screaming, pointing fingers in someone's face, bemoaning their non-rich status, guilting people into paying their bills, providing them housing, etc., and every little thing that she doesn't like, she drags her husband by the nostrils into their son's corporate office and tattles on whomever has rubbed her the wrong way this time. I've never seen parents act like children who run to their son every time something doesn't go their way or benefit them to complain and moan and groan to their son. Who runs a corporate office that way? Does he ever really work or does he roam the halls looking for his next conquest and playing peacemaker to his never-satisfied parents? Oh, how I loathe this character. Can't wait for the day someone smartens up and hauls him out of that job and into a jail cell. Are his bosses that enamored of him, or aren't they really paying attention as to how he's managing all these corporate deals so glowingly where no one else can even get a foot in the door with them? Someone in that firm needs to wake up and start asking some deep questions about how he's so successful in areas they've been stymied for years.
