What's worse is that there are women who are married with kids and still have selfish regrets because they can't "come and go as they please."

As a woman who used to receive government assistance in the state I resided in the "resources" they have for women like MrsKayy said is not easily accessible. Yes daycare is offered but just like section 8 there are waiting list for majority of these things except foodstamps/medicaid. That ofc doesnt excuse this woman from the decisions she made. All im saying is to better understand what most women are receiving as resources you guys need to have women on the panel that are either still receiving said resources or get people whom actively work in these fields to give more accurate information on what these women benefit from and dont.

Most of the time when this happens CPS finds a family member to take care of the children barring the mother wants someone in the family to do so. I’m going to say this and I hope people save this comment and bring it up later (it’ll probably get reported). We are reaching a point of critical mass in regards to female selfishness. At one point at least the children were allegedly safe. That is no longer the case. These women are so selfish, they focus only on what they want, what makes them happy, and what will make their lives better. First, they were able to discard the man because the man was never important to begin with. We thought it would end there, but of course it never does. They are selfish, their actions are rooted and selfishness, but they can easily blame men because you know, the patriarchy and other nonsense. Now we are at the point where they will discard their children for their own personal happiness instead of understanding that they were ill equipped from the beginning and should’ve never had children. But again, if you told him that, that’s misogyny and policing a female body. They are going to start turning over the kids and walk away because we are not allowed to badmouth them or hold them accountable for their horrific actions. There will be some who will defend and ignorantly say things like well this is only one woman. No, she was just the first fool to report and snitch on herself through video. For those who are saying that this behavior is OK, think about how easily the system will get overwhelmed because an abundance of irresponsible women will do this with no punishment or accountability. Think of how bad it things will get for these children, particularly when they get old enough to realize that their mother, the one who’s supposed to love them unconditionally didn’t even want them. Think of the mental and emotional impact this will have for years to come. This will cause ripple effects that will destroy our society long-term.

I totally disagree with help! I am a single mom and because of my tax bracket, I get no help whatsoever from the government. There are no recourses for me! I am not poor so I don't get any government assistance. I am not rich, where I don't have to worry. My ex husband moved to another city, so he does not help. All my family has either passed or lives in another city. So there are single moms out there that are truly, 100% struggling without any resources, but their selves!!!!!!!!!!!!!. It's us middle class that suffer the most, and don't you ever forget it!

Being a single parent is hard as hell and there is not a lot of assistance, not giving her credit and at 15, if no one teaches her then she will make the same mistakes. And again I'm not taking this women side but there are not alot of resources

Not everything is for the internet. I truly wish some people would vet what/how they do things. As a single mother in the military myself (via divorce) I don’t agree with abandoning your children. whether precautions were taken to prevent pregnancy or not, I believe we as human beings know the repercussions of having sex. I also believe that children are blessings. While I do understand there is assistance, that doesn’t always cover or help. At times, their are women/men (taking the initiative to work, go to school, etc) that have requested government assistance but are denied because they were told they “made too much”. government assistance and programs look at your overall income without taking into consideration the monthly expenses, debts etc. of those that may be applying. I believe this can put poverty stricken or disadvantaged parents( single and even dual parent homes) that are striving to do/be better in a tougher situation. Essentially they are being told “well help you, come to your local government assistance office” but when they show up depending on their overall income they will be told no because monthly expenses, debts, etc aren’t considered.

I find this story very odd that she really isnt showing no emotion and doing these interviews. She looks like she doesn’t care and she’s so relieved that’s not love from a mother who is really trying to get their kids back. I think she just saw the RU-vidrs and TikTokers were living and she had FOMO or she’s just in the partying and drugs and probably have an OF soon. She should’ve done this in the private and not blasted it all over the Internet. I could never imagine being one of those five kids and knowing that my mom did that.

The lady in the red is only focusing on outside financial type resources. What is very important are the emotional needs of the child. And that is where many films fall short. They may provide for clothing shelter. But what are they doing when it comes to developing that child's mind It's character? Just spending time with your child talking to your child. This is where I think many parents fall short and I will imagine single parents as it is very draining. It is so much easier to park your children in front of the TV or give them a tablet to play with. But the actual time spent between a child and family, providing that dies and direction is cheap, and this is what is lacking, and if it were to be provided can be quite drained. And that is why it is so much better to have 2 parents at least and the rest of the village.

However, I hope the system finds a home for them that doesn’t create more trauma for them. As for the mom, she had a child starting at age 15. Unless you do a mental switch and get a plan foe the future, it was a matter of time before this occurred. Also, mental illness is masked in many ways and shows as many ways as well.
