Today I finally give my WRX some tone. Video includes: installation, exhaust clips, revs, takeoffs, and my honest review on the Remark muffler deletes. Is it too loud? Is it too quiet? Enjoy the video!
I have had my 18’ WRX for 1.5 years. Been thinking about what exhaust to get the whole time. I have watched 100s of videos on them. For some reason your video pushed me over the edge! My back stealth editions are going on today! Nice job on your videos also. You earned a sub!
I'm so glad to hear that! but yeah muffler deletes are defiantly a great cost effective way to get the most out of your exhaust, especially under warranty
Smart guy. Waiting until after the warranty to do more major stuff. That's exactly what I'm doing with my 2020. Definitely needs the muffle delete or a louder exhaust. Fairly quiet stock.
Nice video man. I just ordered the 4 inch double wall burnt tip remark axle back several weeks ago. I'll get the axle back by the end of July. Super excited!!!!
Great video, exactly what I was looking for. I just ordered for my 17” wrx. Question though, I’ve had some people say that you mostly get pops when in low gears and holding the clutch down while rolling. We’re you popping that nice in neutral?
Thanks for the video. Nice pops. But about the Downpipe I understand cat less is loud af but it’s not about volume, it’s about performance and getting rid of that restriction and then tuning the vehicle to operate properly. High flow cat works well too but nothing better than cat less 🤤
Love it! My wife has a 19, with sti mufflers on it. But they gotta go, need it louder! Do you have a cobb access port as well? I need to hear those pops and bangs!
RHawk 24 you don’t need AP for the pops. Just after market axleback! I’m currently running the ETS w/4” mufflers and it pops. I’m sure any aftermarket one will do
@@subieshenanigans8127 cool, great video. There's enough 'how-to' videos on these deletes, your vid had exactly what I was looking for! Genuine subie sounds, the rumble really shines with these deletes! I know the old subies had way more rumble, but its 2019, we're more sophisticated now.
@@subieshenanigans8127 you clearly took a lot of time to make a quality video, you don't lead up a 15 minute build up talking, you really nailed it! Our muffler deletes will be here tuesday, and all thanks to you! I was on the fence about ordering them because most guys don't showcase the "mufflers", they just talk about it, and most of the video is them talking about unrelated b.s. I don't sub to a lot of channels, but I'm subbing to you. Just keep the quality up, your channel will go far.
Besides the muffler deletes, what else mods you’ve done to your car? I also have these muffler deletes on my car but with the burnt tips and I’m loving the sounds!
Performance wise, that’s all I really have because I can’t do much or it’ll mess with my warranty on the car. But yes they are amazing! I need more loud soon tho😂
SUBIE SHENANIGANS We’re on the same boat. But pretty soon, I’ll be ordering their resonated mid pipe to complete the exhaust set up😅 I noticed that your exhaust popped a lot!
@@AREMPEE I feel like the resonated mid-pipe will make it too quite for my liking lol. Unless you get a downpipe with it down the road. But yeah it pops like crazy on downshifts and when you rev it in 2nd.
Hey, i read your commented about making it pop, but how does putting the car in 2nd gear with the clutch down for neutral, make it pop so much??? but man it sounds sick!
@@subieshenanigans8127 fair enough. took your advice and showed my buddy who had the same setup, lets just say he was not disappointed lol thanks for the reply. look forward to more content! :D
I honestly don't think it's that bad. But when it is getting annoying I just lift up the radio. But you could honestly throw in a small resonator to get rid of most of it
UPDATE i have a 18 wrx that was stock now im running the remark boso edition axle back and a cobb stage 1 93oct tune and i dont have the pops or bangs only when im getting on it and shift gears will i get 1 good bang every once in a while but not concistant. Do you think if i went back to stock tune or get a res deleat will it pop more?
Steven Nolen that’s interesting🧐 in all honesty I would think the tune would help create more pops and bangs. But yeah I would definitely say if you get a downpipe it’ll definitely create some crazy bangs, cause I’ve seen setups with aftermarket jpipes and they are ridiculous lol
Since you’ve had it all summer what do you think now? Sometimes it’s hard to decipher in videos. I’ve been reluctant to get a muffler delete because in my state they are tough on exhaust. I have a Cobb stage 1 Big SF as well a o I already have some sick noises from the intake. Wondering if this will make it that much sweeter. From the video it sounds awesome. Let me know! Thanks!
I'm honestly still in love with them! They don't really get old. I just wouldn't mind a little more noise, but I gotta be patient and wait for the warranty to be over lol.And yeah I can hear some sweet turbo spool now from the back, and they do some crazy pop noises! Thanks for the feedback!
Thinking about getting this setup because, like you, I'm under warranty and just something to play with for a year or 2 before I upgrade. Honest question (because there's only so much you can take from a video).....Is it obnoxious loud?
I would not say it's that loud in my opinion. In all honesty I want it to be louder but for some people it might be a little annoying on the highway but Im used to it tbh! But I love it for what it is and what it does under warranty
@@subieshenanigans8127 Well bro, based SOLELY on your videos, I bought the same hardware. It'll be here Monday. Hope you don't let me down!! hahaha....I enjoy the vids!
Rocco Guiducci I’ve heard that a jpipe paired with the muffler deletes are very loud and obnoxious but it all depends on the persons taste and it depends if you go catless or not. But I’d look up some vids on the pairing!
Thanks bro! And yes it is completely bone stock! And that is probably because your invidia has a performance muffler to it, but those sound much deeper! Especially with a downpipe with your invidia, and that thing will sound badass!
even with catted jpipe its gonna be crazy loud your gonna want to get the mid pipe from remark trust me... been through it already with my 2018 wrx follow my channel if you wanna see some clips
I don't think inspection should be too big of a problem. I was going to go to the subaru dealership to get mine expected and worse comes to worst I'll just swap out the exhaust quick.
@@subieshenanigans8127 Nice man! Thanks for the reply. I'm installing mine this weekend and don't have to worry about inspection till May. It's just 4 bolts so it shouldn't be that big of a deal to swap back to stock
I actually just got my inspection the other day, and they did not say anything! But even if they did it wouldn't be a big deal to switch them out every year
@@valentinguillaume5036 yeah bro you definitely should! this car literally always brings a smile to my face! if you need more help deciding on getting it, check out the vid I just posted on my review on it :)
@@sammygingello I recorded the video on my canon camera, but it doesn't matter what you record it with. It all depends on the video editor! I edit my videos on my computer, which can allow for more features than your phone!
yes just the muffler delete and no tune! I have a video on how to do the "crackling" lol ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TkPVlMgqyjw.html
@@Jason-ns2fp No it should not be leaking any exhaust fumes! you might need to tighten it up some more. This might be a silly question, but did you remove the old gasket?
you can buy them from so many different sites! I think I got mines off of redline360 or subispeed, I can’t exactly remember. But I recently made a video showing how to make it pop!
