After the Phoenix game, no one should even question who the ROtY will be. Reese had a couple of nice plays Thursday but CC just help beat 3 Olympic gold medalists. Counting the all star game, she, AB, and Kelsey are 4-0 v Taurasi, Copper, and Bob Grinner.

@@BryantBrothers-gm1qxyou’re taking it the wrong way. You are naming other good or great players. Her game is rare, the way you have to defend her is rare. Her long range shooting is really what sent her to super stardom as a Jr in college and the defense teams play against her together with those other skills set her apart. Leading the country in both scoring AND assists is not normal. It has happened on the men side (very rare) but I cannot remember any woman doing it. Put logo 3’s into the mix that drives fans crazy and then…no, we haven’t seen a player like her. The attention she attracts does not just “ happen”

Tonight wasn't even one of CC's exceptional performances. Kaliah Copper & the Mercury were working hard to contain her, and they still couldn't quite do it. I'm sort of hoping she racks up enough assists to average 10 for the whole season; she's at around 8 now. That would mean she averaged a double double for the season.
Hey, give credit to Taurasi. She upped her 0.7 ppg Olympic avg to 14pts which was almost half of Caitlin’s pts. Maybe when team USA brings her back for the next Olympics she’ll score a few buckets and really earn her gold medal, and tell CC she’ll be heavily considered for the next Olympics team again.
In that final fever possesion, clark could've tried and get a new career high and tried to score. Instead she ran down the clock and got a TO instead. Other ROY candidates wouldnt have done the same.
The Olympic team beat everyone in the world except Team USA and then they come home and 2 of the Olympians get there backsides handed to them by a rookie. 😂😂😂😅😅
League stats -DDs with rebounds are accomplished at a 5-6 times greater rate than DDs with assists. So DDs with rebounds are MUCH easier to get. So Reese’s DDs are no comparison to CCs. Plus CCs other wnba records are astounding.
Reese is maximizing her limited basketball ball skills with effort. She is exceeding most expectations, but she doesn’t have the impact that Caitlin has. Even when Caitlin is shooting well, she still has an impact. It’s undeniable, even if you are rooting for Reese.
Here's something to think about, and this goes for almost all sports (WNBA, NBA, NFI, etc.). Without looking at the stats (which we do, but disregard those for now), what player has helped their team the most? Where would they be with or with out them? This also has a ripple effect for the whole league, as in standings and playoff race. Angel Reese is a really good player, better than many other rookies. However, I think CC is way more effective to her teams success. Without her, the fever would most likely be in single digit wins and missing the playoffs again - which they haven''t even been to in 8 years. Sorry for the long post.

And A Reese is not the ROTY, but if someone plays the whole game and had the ball in their hand 95% per of the game you can get those numbers. Let's see what her number like when sit on the bench and take a break and gives another point guard to get some play.
Can someone do a stat on how many minutes CC plays a game versus the players she passed in assist and scoring. Because she plays the most minutes this year than any other players this year. So it's a little easier to put up those numbers if you are playing the while came. And Reese grab double with less minutes. So that's more impressive than someone who plays the whole game to get those numbers.
All she needed was a little rest. Coach SIDE'S was a spectator,how do u wait until a 30 point lead evaporates to 4 to call time out. Clark came off a 1 month vacation she dont need a 5 min rest ( maybe 2 or 3)
Swoops...i think if cc going to b this good then she has to play w no arms and legs to b on the same level as the others or it really isnt good nor will it b a real record. Dt... yes there's levels to this and she playing w all her limbs against us makes her better and that is not fair. U look super human playing w all ur limbs against us as old women but reality is coming. Reese, i think i am as good w no limbs as clark, so include me too, and i just want u to know that.
