We face this in southern Brazil. "We lost a lot, but we didn't lose everything. Because our everything walks on water." as my pastor says. the community helped each other, many things happened, but the waters will recede and our resilience will manifest itself. May the best in each brother come out at this moment, that is my prayer. Because volunteer work and donations were vital to mitigate the physical, mental and spiritual damage from the catastrophe we experienced. God is with you, it is a great mystery, which will leave you incredulous, but the Truth will manifest itself. With love, my best sympathies for the grief you face.❤

I lived for years in the effected area and the most important fact is this - most people there are poor. Travel 3 miles from the center of town and you see abject poverty. The need is immense. Please help them now.

If I may ask, I'll bet this family is of Irish or Scottish ancestry? I know a keening when I hear one...😮 With that said- this was beautifully done. A tradition of the past, preserving the present for the future. Prayers to the souls lost in the flood and for the strength of those left to rise again. I couldn't donate fast enough. 😊
