Still my number 1 gripe with The Notebook. She hooks up with Noah when she's engaged, and the movie just brushes it off. "B-but they were soul mates!" Cheating is still cheating ffs
she didn't think about it in the moment thought about it afterwards and realized she didn't actually love Raphael and broke up with him. saving him from being married to someone who doesn't love him
Raphael didn't deserve this at all, he understood she wasn't ready and decided to wait with her but no she went ahead to sleep with someone else. Natalie wasted her time, life, love and future on Keith. Raphael deserved better cause he was just a wonderful guy.
@Blessing Uhiara you were thinking about this with Logic but love does not confine itself to Logic the heart wants what the heart wants even that which is worse for it.
@@TshepoNkadimeng5 oh yes it does. Logic has all to do with it. Sure you can't choose who to love, but you CAN choose who you chase. She CHOSE to chase Keith, desperately. She CHOSE to sleep with him. She CHOSE to break into his locker. Her falling in love with him was the result of her poor decisions.
@@informationyes Why did she go bowling with a creep and a stalker when she already had a boyfriend? It was a stupid decision no one will take, just to advance the plot.
I love how you tell the story of the movie! It is clear and not boring. But i don't like the guy Keith and what he told to the girl who fall in love to him. She almost ruined her studies and cheated and broke up to her bf for him.
I stop the video half way to watch the entire movie... Definitely one of favourite movie ever, and this is to say I dont do sad movie. There is sth about these 2 and the build up of the emotion, slowly figuring everything out with her, following all her anger, confusion, and everything is sooooo powerful. Im so glad i didnt get spoiled. Makes the movie 10 times better. Thanks 4 convincing me to watch the movie
I like how you just focus on her anger and confusion, while ignoring the fact that Raphael's anger and confusion. Guys are not play things... if you're okay with her treating him like that, I'm worried how you behave in real life.
@@names-mars no one is saying she treated Raphael right. She should have just told him, but she was scared to not be what everyone else wanted her to be.
@@names-mars Damn! You don't even know me, and you already worried about how I behave in real life?!😂 Its not that deep bro... I didn't say I agree with the way she treated Raphael... He is just a side character that I neither like nor hate... I just don't care about him...
This is about her falling in love with some guy it has nothing to do with her home life, and if shes so spoiled why does she care so much about somoene without even their health, come on man think
@@NarYan2904 I don't see why _you_ should be vicariously outraged with my comment on the behalf of the white girls as from you name you seem to be Indian. Unless of course you are an Oreo dark on the outside but white on the inside. But fair enough though. I'll remove the offensive bit.
I remember watching this movie back in high school and I watched it because of Jesse McCartney. As much as I love Jesse, his character in this movie is actually a really bad guy and Natalie is really dumb. Raphael deserved better he was such a good guy 😭
Just based on the recap, Keith was presumptuous, overly persistent, assumed things about Natalie and judged her, and did them each a disservice by not being open to telling her his feelings and what he's experiencing. I can't imagine the experience and emotions of being terminally ill with end stage cancer, but it seems like that's the main reason behind his behavior. I agree Raphael deserved more consideration, and Natalie should not have cheated on him (Keith should have backed off or been up front once she had a boyfriend, too.) It's all sad and unfortunate. 😔
dunno why the whole time the narrator is saying she's going to a college when she's really a high school senior (has to play tennis well to get into her dream college)
So he kept asking her to go bowling and she kept refusing, but he didn't want to accept her answer. Why did she finally agree? That is not cute or nice. That is scary.
I think its not a bad thing to be persistent... but it is a bad thing to cheat. That being said, I can understand how one can be selfish knowing that they'd about to die before they even get to experience actual life. But, damn, she did Raphael dirty.
@@gerardjagroo Ahh yes, the only reason you're persistent is because you're a creep. Sure. Edit: Maybe you're single minded. But to help you understand, someone who is persistent, is typically more interested than a person who is less persistent. There's a big difference between acting like a creep and finding someone interesting enough that you spend more than just 1 question to actually get her to actually give you a shot. Personally, I'd rather be with someone who tries, not the hit and run types. Now of course, there's a limit to being persistent, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't at least try.
@@names-mars Its not bad to be persistent but in this case asking someone several times to go on a date with you after they've already rejected you is a form of sexual harassment. So no you shouldn't do that.
Well, to fall in love with someone you have to spend time with that person. If she hadn't spent time with him, she wouldn't have fallen in love with him. So, it is actually a choice
so if she didn't spend time with him outside of the class and just spend the time in lab but still fall in love with him, does that mean it's her choice? I mean she can reject it right. She can just ask her name to be taken out from that whatever the project it is. I mean she has a boyfriend. She should respect Raphael
I understand she wasn’t really happy before with her life, but there’s a medium between full perfection that makes you unhappy and completely being turned upside down with no future for “freedom” sake
It was a great movie. Why are y'all hating on her she is just a teen lol, if she was an adult, I'm sure she would have dealt with the relationship thing more responsibly. I'm not saying it was right and quit making your teen years reflect on how you see your love life as an adult!
yes! when i watched Keith for the first time not knowing what will happen, i kinda realized how the movie was going to end when Keith said that he didn't have any college plans.... p.s. I watched A Walk to Remember a couple of days earlier
He does both movies and music. He currently is the voice of dick Grayson on young justice and is still releasing music. He has over 3 million followers on Spotify
The characters were extremely unrealistic which is fine to make the story hit the right emotional notes. But I guess, too many people just want to be free spirited never realising that as long as you are alive, you are stuck, never free, poor or rich, old or young, healthy or sick.
It's not unrealistic, just not overly frequently seen. A lot of people n personalities exist. I actually relate with this more than more other things i know, tho i also relate other things with them, human's human
Also we are stuck in a system ,not life. We just need to fix it. Also a lot of humans are free n not stuck, don't see don't know ? but they are there living their own life n we can, or -
@@-aeshe-4951 I'm not saying that different kinds of people don't exist, exceptions are just that, the chances of them happening are rare. And people are usually shallow, they'll prefer convenience over from 99 out of 100 times. Especially now when are so much used to conveniences that people in the long run always choose the easy way out.
The system is the result of human desire to make survival as easy as possible. You can be free but can't always have the conveniences of being a slave in a system. Vice versa is also true ie you can't expect freedom when you accept the conveniences of the system.
most people here talking about how cheating is bad and how ralph was SOOO WrOnGeD... man this is high school and the popular kid was "dating" the popular girl, thats all that was and then she met her lab partner, he made her curious and he seemed more like a boyfriend the whole movie than ralph did at all. If yall actually watched the movie you probably wouldnt even think about the part where they made love or where she "cheated". Recap guy just made it sound so bad to spark these convos in comment section
How is this beautiful? This is basically a story about a guy manipulating a girl and playing with her emotions and ruining her life just because he going to die soon. At the end of the movie, after her life is ruined all she got was depression and a yellow truck.
I love this movie Keith challenge Natalie he showed her what is more important in life. Being perfect or having a perfect life. Will not make you happy. Keith always like Natalie but feel like he wasn't good enough and he is fighting his inner self. Keith just wanted to spend time with her.
