In my idea of an alternative ending, she sings as the credit rolls and Frank doesn't come out. Credit ends, the song ends and we see her standing there realizing he is not going to take her back.
In a perfect world that would be the reality but we all know there will always be a market of simp dudes that will constantly be the Fiddle for these women
Frank shoulda never took her back. She didn't see his value from the beginning, but since things didn't workout wit the other guy she wanted to come back and she was playing wit his emotions ☠️🤦🏽♂️
I couldn’t agree with you more, I wish the film had ended with her just standing out there in the rain keeps singing and saying until after the credits have ended then we see her turning around and walking away realizing she never gonna get him.

Im sorry but i dont think he shouldve taken her back she clearly only cares about herself. She even says herself she doesnt knwo how to love him is he supposed to teach her? At that fossil age no you should be with someone who values your feelings. I wouldve ket her go through a whole album before getting up to draw the blinds and lock the door
She cheated on him and only wanted to take him back when the other guy didn’t want her and now she’s outside singing like she’s singing to her best friend who’s just mad at her and not a man that she emotionally hurt. it look like it’s all fun and games. She didn’t look concerned whatsoever while she was singing, it’s like she knew he was going to come out.

He was an experiment. You can forgive but not be one. Forgiving is the best help, but taking someone back that didn’t appreciate the things you did. Making the same mistake. Forgiving is a second chance, but not taking the problem back again. It’s a fools thing.

He (Frank) was never the first option of choice since the beginning, she just was playing with his emotions and strangling him along, to keep her self entertained till the guy who meant her so called list came along who she presumably thought was the better option, so then came back to Frank as an Inconvenience, because what she thought was the 1st option did not work out, (Frank was never the FIRST Choice.) she came back because of guilt and remorse.

First let me get on here and say this yes she was wrong for cheating on him with another a lot of people make mistakes this movie clearly shows alot of realistic on here if the roles were reversed she would be the clown but why is he a clown because he loves her and she loves him yes it took her a while to see no man will be perfect and she seen him as a guy who worked at a coffee shop and had a criminal record also she had gotten catfished as well so she thought the other guy was easier but seen that the grass was not greener on the other side and again I never said she was right for cheating on him at all🤦🏾♀️
A better ending would be to have her wait out in the rain, no corny ass sing along, and just have the credits roll over the long wait and then just end. No post credit comedy bit. Just a slightly ambiguous ending that basically tells you, he doesn’t let her in and doesn’t take her back. Choices have consequences, and this bullshit happy ending is toxic and unrealistic.
So she cheated on him and when it didn’t work out with the other guy, she came back crying and singing in the rain & Mr simp took her back? Unbelievable! These are the movies we saw as kids that fucked up our self respect & standards towards women 😂😂😂
