Southern Rock/Blues band. Possibly the best touring band today. Talent off the charts. Her husband Derek is the best slide guitarist in the world. BB King was in love with them both.

This band is a roots style jam band, Derek Trucks is the best living slide guitar player, played with his uncle in The Allman Brothers Band, Susan is his wife and they combined their bands

Susan Tedeschi has a phenomenal voice. The guitarist standing beside her is her husband, Derrick Trucks. Hence, the name Tedeschi Trucks Band. They are both amazingly talented humans! Thank you for this reaction.

They are a great band. They can play anything and blow the doors off the place. Listen to this driving down the road with all the windows open on a nice day.

There are lots of female blues performers to check out. In addition to Susan Tedeschi, there's Carolyn Wonderland, Debbie Davies, Shemekia Copeland and Ana Popovic. The other guitarist is her husband Derek Trucks, whose uncle Butch Trucks was the original drummer for the Allman Brothers. Derek is a slide guitar virtuoso. By the way, the song was originally recorded in 1961 by Bobby "Blue" Bland.

Susan Tadeschi is pure awesomeness! My personal favorite song of her's is Hurt So Bad. “Showed out", I haven't heard that in a lot of years, since I was down south. 😆👍

You should check out Danielle Nicole, Beth Hart, Bonnie Raitt. All have great blues vocals. Danielle did a great version of Purple Rain.

Another female blues guitarist you should become familiar with is Bonnie Raitt. See if you can find her in a live performance of "Love Me Like a Man."

Thier best effort to date, I think, is "Midnight In Harlem". A great band. Lots of blues ladies out there....... check out Bonnie Raitt, Nick of Time or Have a Heart for starters. Thanks for reacting.

Dude, I stopped because you said her name correctly. Not many people do that, much respect. They're phenomenal live, as you can see. I've been able to see them twice so far. Susan is a classically trained musician. She went to the Berklee School of Music in Boston.
