its difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation, my relationship of 12 years ended, but i couldnt just let her go i did all i could to get her back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual counselor who helped me bring her back
I don’t think that she even cares that he transitioned. I think she used that as leverage to express her other concerns and take a majority of the responsibility off of her. I think he agreed to come because he wanted to be able to get counseling and other resources to help with his transition.

Wow!!! I thought she was definitely having him served, I was floored! This was a lot 2 take in and if we're honest with ourselves we've probably all been in relationships or situations we didn't ask enough questions. U live and u learn however that doesn't excuse the lies, dishonesty and manipulation here. I don't think she wants a he/she for a husband even though she sexually likes women. According to the last part of the show they're still together. Looks like they're working it out i guess. One of the main take aways from this episode is just be honest about what you want, communicate with the people you claim to care about most importantly youself. I wish them well. Good job judge.

He is still a man regardless of his preference. We are born male or female. He used her as a beard while he felt strong enough to show the world. He is clearly a homosexual and that is it. Not to mention he committed adultery and said as if it wasn’t a big deal. What more needs to be discussed when he clearly said he has always wanted men. She is again setting her self up for failure. She doesn’t want to go and her self worth has to be low, low, low. She should have walked out the courtroom with her maiden name and moved on with her life.

The honest answer to all of this is that she is bisexual. The first part of this case when she said it put everything into perspective. It seems you missed part of the story: a year before they got married, he told her he was attracted to men, that he was going to start hormone therapy, and that he had an affair-all before the marriage. While he was wrong, she also has equal accountability in the situation.
No therapy is needed for the two of them but individually. 🙂 sooooo Shannon basically ended up doing the EXACT thing Gabriella was talking about during the whole court session which is them staying together and her learning to love Gabriella for Gabriella... I believe Gabriella genuinely thought Shannon would grow into what Gabriella truly wanted to do since Shannon is bisexual... There's nothing wrong with Gabriella wanting to hold on to a person Gabriella finds comfort, security, has a long history and time with, hard to let go of people you truly love but it is selfish to keep major secrets...
