More than the proposal, I am so ELATED and godly proud of the Pastor for making a stand!!! This really brought tears to my eyes, knowing that there are still leaders standing for truth!
He preached that! My take away.. in addition to the wonderful proposal is that "Your Savior is stronger than your situation " !! And that while being inspected he removes everything that doesn't belong !! My Lord, My Lord!!!

Beautiful....the testimony he gave is so real...I'm waiting on my husband this time around. First go round I picked and I messed up that man cheated all the time. God still found favor and blessed me with two beautiful children. I learned to wait now.

People has the right to their own opinion. It look as if he was already being council by the pastor how ever it came to be. I applaud the MOG for standing firm on the bible teaching of shacking. Some pastors would've took them all but not this one. The brother was trying to make it right by God's law. Not common law. I can appreciate the holiness that came forth.
Pastor did right, they wanted to join the church but not married. She was happy, just was not expecting it. She was crying, if she wasn't ready it's not like they married just engaged. They both appears to be a sweet couple and have found a church. They will be fine just keep God first. So happy for them.

I support that pastor in his stance. I don't know why people who claim to be Christian think that living together is okay without marriage. You need to make wedding vows before God and man as witnesses of your love and commitment to one another.
