I was the only school friend / local hometown friend that travelled 600 km to my schoolmate's wedding 😍 The only other people from our old hometown were the parents, sister and photographer. All the others were from where they lived and got married 😮
If they’re besties, how come they didn’t immediately jump and hug when the one saw her and realized it was her “bestie” lmfaooo I think they’re just friends who are close but besties are a whole other level. If that were me, it would seem like I’m about to attack, the way I would jump on my best friend for a hug

I remember surprising my friend tyat I haven't met or Talked in years because I had moved from the town. I showed upto his doorstep and when he opened the door he was so surprised to see me that his jaw was dropped for a solid minute. I still remember his reaction and think it's quite wholesome

mine just walked her graduation the school haphazardly put together, and i found out just last night :'( I wouldve risked a panic attack flying just to see her walk.

I did this with some family I had not seen for 5+ years. I joined their table but because they were with a big group they did not notice. After some time they did and flipped out of happiness, one of my happiest moments.
That's lovely! None of you will ever forget that day. My uncle and aunt are twins, but lived (my uncle has passed away) in different countries and hadn't seen each other for a few years. On their 50th birthday, my uncle flew over, hid at my cousin's house for the day, and in the evening pretended to be a very bad waiter at their restaurant table, knocking over glasses and taking my aunt's drink away, until she realised who the waiter was! Her reaction was just like the girl's in the video.

That reminds me when I went to Texas to watch my sister/bestie graduate from Texas A & M❤. Her husband & daughter arranged for me to fly in & they didn't tell her. It was so awesome. We had been talking about her graduation for weeks & she just kept saying "I wish you could be here. We both would be crying when we got off the phone & I kept telling her that I would be there in spirit.

The way the graduate heard her friends voice and immediately made direct eye contact. Maybe I'm just slow, but I imagine I would have had to look around to figure out where the friend's voice was coming from
This made me cry. My best friend refused to come to my graduation even though she was the only other person I wanted there aside from my mom. She was like my sister but was angry at me for graduating and told me she'd rather be sleeping with her boss. It hurt like hell and I still miss who I thought she was.
Leave her in the dust. If she was angry at you for opening the door to better job opportunities for yourself, then she doesn’t deserve to have friends. I think she was just trying to use you to make herself seem better but you graduating ruins her “perfect” little fantasy.
Sounds like the, hopefully ex best friend was jealous of you and your accomplishments. She showed her true colors and you're definitely better off without that type of toxicity in your life. ❤
