I think there is still some proffesional distance between employee and boss but perhaps they will do the same as Table Top time. Meaning creating a team with Jazza as the pull, then set them loose. It's hard to be friendly with the boss and the sempai in the YT world. :)

If you named your layers in Photoshop or Illustrator, when you import the file to After Effects, they go with the name layer as well

The only thing I'd change is I'd match the direction of the snow with the direction of the flapping cape. To make it seem like the wind is going in the same direction, linking them. Other than that it looks incredible

I watched the original video and could not help but to see how Alisha has rubbed off on Jazza and him organically picking up some stuff about painting from her! It is just subtle improvements. It makes me so excited for the future of this channel where each artist on here learns from each other and grows!!! I ran right over here when I heard Alisha was doing a digital painting of it, because I was thinking the entire video how she'd absolutely kill making a painting with a similar composition. I was right! I was absolutely right!!!

When I started with After Effects like 10 years ago... I was blown away. Flash died to me that day lol. I know how it feels Jazza, because for a looooong time I also animated my projects with Flash, but if you want to animate, AE is the answer. It changed my life. My weakness is that I'm not a good drawer, I can't draw an amazing dragon like that out of nowhere...

Idea for Part 2: Fingerpaint different layers onto large canvases primed with one colour that you don't use (like a green-screen). Photograph them and take each layer into the computer, deleting the green-screen background. Animate the painting!

DaVinci Resolve can do it, it is a few extra steps, but it is still possible. Export each layer as a .png (I don't know if it works with a.psd) go into Fusion and add each layer on an image plane. Add a camera and merge3d everything. Add a render3d and connect that to your MediaOut. I usually generate particles in a separate 3D space so I can add blurs and glows without affecting the rest of the image. Snow or rain can be made using the techniques in this video: m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kgPW7H9GGM4.html (Nomad R Productions, Dr strange Portal) And fog or smoke could be made from this: m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1MA9zX6kexI.html (Nomad R Productions, Wandavision Energy VFX) There are probably tutorials on how to actually create snow, fog, etc but these are ones I already had saved.

It's honestly crazy how simple the video editing part is, and the fact that she was able to make that with not a whole lot of knowledge about after is pretty amazing. She could do insane things if she spent some time learning after effects in depth.
