I waited 7 years to ask my wife even though she was ready after 1. I just couldnt ask the most amazing woman i ever met to spend her life with me until I had my life completely figured. I wanted to go in with no debt, no questions about my future etc. I was teased a lot at my wedding for taking soo long to ask, after I explained myself in a speech her parents came over to me and told me I was good enough when we met the first time. I'm pretty sure someone behind me was cutting onions just then, lol. I know I rambled a bit but what he said in the beginning really hit home w me. Good man.

There's one I saw where the girl is a fan of countdowns. They guy took a photo every day for a year with a number counting down to the day he proposed. IIRC, he combined them into a video with the proposal at the end, now THAT's planning.

Loved the fact that thru this amazing proposal....is the statement to keep a marriage strong is to keep God in the center. My husband and I have been married 45 years (5 children and 16 grandchildren) is keeping God in the center has helped and continues to keep us thru every every experience.

LOL and here I am with a daughter with my husband and he's never proposed to me because he wanted to. We had a daughter then decided we should get married so he just got down on one knee and said "will you marry me" right after we signed our marriage papers. We're separated now, surprising isn't it? ZeahrazZ We were young; I was fresh out of high school, and he was in his last year of college. I'm 56 now, and he's 60! It's hard to believe that that many years have gone by. We have a daughter and a son, and four perfect grandchildren! Yes, we've had some rough times, but I wouldn't trade our life and family for anyone else's. Aaaaaand that's what I mean when I say, "Work hard together on your marriage. It's so worth it!"
ZeahrazZ Lol Why shouldn't a 56-year-old watch RU-vid? I'm not dead yet. I love music videos; "Still Falling for You" and "Thinking Out Loud" are my favorites right now. I believe we're not "old" till we let ourselves become old. Maybe that's one reason why we still laugh so much, learn new things, do as much as we can..after all this time.
