I don't know how every cat I had was able to know what time it was in the morning, but they knew when I was supposed to get up and would never meow and scratch at my bedroom down until then, and almost to the minute as though they knew I didn't want to be prematurely awakened. They also knew never to use the bathroom in the house and would always go outside to do it through their little door even in the rain. I didn't train them to do any of that. They just knew. Too bad cats have such short lives.

Is Maple a Norwegian Forest cat or Siberian Forest cat? I have a female and she's a mix of the two. She also looks a lot like Maple, except the maple color on Maples back is a very odd black that turns dark purple outside on my cat. The whole street calls her the purple cat. I call her Boogie, because she won't stop round around.......like ever.....2 a.m., 3 am., 4 a.m......etc...just like in this video. They sound the same too and have that magic tail.
