I like this movie because it is rare to see Black woman/ red skinned indigenous man dating in a movie but tired of the same old single black woman/ family problem stereotypes .
Unfortunately 70%of Black Mom’s are single Moms. Most Black love stories are about successful, single child free women in their 20s. Idealistic but not realistic. This story fits most of our narrative and gives hope
@asiaisreal7302 Most times, these movies capture our realities. It might seem stereotypical, but they are the reality, especially in America, not to generalize.
@@Robi-kc3xg yes that was unpalatable for me. The daughter being a moocher and single mother and the son into bad things. That is not who we are… that is how white america want us to be.
i am 36.. grew up always seeing Alfre Woodard on tv as somebody momma😂 she's the momma from Crooklyn & the crack addicted mother ftom Holiday heart(she died in both) so.. my point is, its really good 2 see her have a happy ending 4 once.. literally made me smile this morning
The actor playing the Chèf was a really solid character in SVU. His exit was sad, but he left the show as a hero in eyes of the viewers having got rid of a horrid character that thought he was above the law. That said, this looks very interesting too...🎉❤😢😅😮😊
Wonderful and splendid movie. I had the pleasure of watching this movie for the first time, a few years ago. 🍿 I’m glad Juanita took the opportunity to do some ‘self-care.’ Hey, you only live once.
That's a great summary. Didn't expect to watch till the end but thankfully I did 😊 Her breakup with the imaginary boyfriend got me 😅 I broke up with my imaginary love few months ago but made it up with him again no later than one month after the breakup 😂 In my case there's no Jess, so hope the end of the movie doesn't imply she stuck to the unreal and let go with the real one ❤
I’m sorry, but did you and this movie refer to Columbus, the capital of Ohio, the most populated city of over nine hundred thousand a “quiet little town”??? We have more people than San Francisco, Denver a Las Vegas!! The actual fuck?
Haha, I guess "quiet little town" is just Hollywood's way of saying "we're not ready for your party scene!" Columbus definitely deserves some recognition for its lively vibe!
