This is the first lawn care channel I've seen that you explain to the customer and the audience that you are making a video and hopefully getting ad revenue through the video. It's a small but respectful part that I appreciate
Ikr! I was about to comment that I respect him for that. Not that I didn't know it, but it's nice when they're honest and not like..I'm spending hours doing free yard for complete strangers just to be nice, aww shucks.
I mean common sense some of you are wayyyyy to huge in life to not know how the internet works esp RU-vid u have an account but don’t know doing something free on RU-vid but vid makes money still gets paid idk seems very simple 🤷🏽♂️
@@GarthKlaus now why would they give af only “are you charging me ever at all for anything” and “are you filming me” dassit frfr and if they ask then u tell them but if they don’t ask yea it’s simple ppl on social media just have a burning desire to know everything about everything while also condemning it but ppl have specifically mowed lawns and left cards as a free for word of mouth type of system for ages so again not that fukkin hard to understand
@@moth300 sure, he gets paid through the videos, and possibly makes more than he would if he actually did the job for money. Hell, he probably gets more business because someone local saw a video. So what? He's not doxxing or shaming anyone, or adding some bullshit story. He's just doing good things for people who obviously need some form of help. Why disparage that?? No one does anything strictly for the good of someone else. Even if you get nothing of material value from doing a good thing, you still get the hit of 'feel good' chemicals in your brain and the thought of "I just did a good thing, good for me." And if you do it in front of anyone, they'll probably give you some sort of encouragement or gratitude for doing it... he's just doing it in front of a lot more people. If no one is getting hurt, let people do nice things. We need *more* good deeds in the world, not to shame the ones already happening.
This is the first lawn care company I've seen that: 1. Explained the circular way they still get paid, 2. Took away the piles of cut grass, and 3. PAINTED the lawn green afterwards! Nice job!
That nice lady keeping her neighborhood property values down with her neglect. I can't respect people who live like swine Edit: woah look at all these swines responding to me. I can't respect that
it still kind of is charity work since he could still easily charge them and make even more money along with also getting a video that he gets paid from
It's still partly charity. He can still charge them and just cut the part talking to the owner because his viewers are mostly interested in watching the cleaning part. Every owner he talks to thanks him which proves that there's a charity part there because they are chosen to receive the free part of his content.
He's still making money. He'd just not being paid by the person he's working for. If he actually got nothing I think he would be more hesitant to do this.
I like how he's being honest about making money out of the videos while helping others with what he does. This is a very honest content creator. Unlike others on social media who pretend to help but ultimately are just after the views.
I hear you. Especially about the content creators that do something that's easy, like buying homeless people food or giving them lots of money. Mowing tall grass is hard and takes hours. So even if they do it partly for the views, it's a hard, tiring job. All the content creators I've seen who mow lawns were upfront about being RU-vidrs.
You are so honest. The way you talk to the home owners and your viewers is so nice. Thank you for your politeness. Stay the way you are. Always a pleasure to watch your garden shows. Take care.
I really want to know how many views you would have to get on this video for it to amount to the cost of the average cut. It would be nice to know how much you made off the video, how many views you got, how many views it took to cover his cost, and how many views would take to cover the labor. I enjoy these types of videos but I'm genuinely curious about the
I know how hard that work is. That is why I am comnenting. Well actually it is because you are so kind to people as well ad providing an important servive that impacts many people. The person at the property, the neighborhood, and those who find inspiration viewing your posts. Take good care of yourself. 😊
Over a 4 year period, I was the sole caretaker for 5 loved ones as they navigated terminal illness, hospice care, and then transition. At times, I took care of 3 people at a time. These were the people who were closest to me, including my Mom, Grandma, and best friend. An aunt and uncle, who lived with me for 4 years, were the others. During hospice care, I slept on the floor, so I could be right there with them. As my loved ones transitioned onto whatever awaits us, I had to push aside my grief because there was no time. I just went from one urgent need to the next. If you've ever taken care of someone who's seriously ill, you know how all consuming it can be. Often, it was 24-7 and the only way I was able to do it was with spiritual support. So many times, prayers were answered and Earth Angels appeared to help. Twice, people helped me get my overwhelming jungle of a lawn reclaimed. One was a complete stranger. It was so meaningful. As I'm writing this, I have tears in my eyes. Thank you for what you do. Thank you to those who support this man's work.
God bless you ✝️🙏🏽😇🙏🏼✝️... I've been in a hospital like facility for the past ALMOST 5 YEARS, due to an illness called GBS (Guillain-Barre Syndrome)... I've been unable to walk, and I ALSO haven't been able to breathe without the aide of a breathing tube that's surgically inserted through my neck and into my trachea... I don't even remember getting sick, but I know that my family's been coming to see me as often as they can. Since I first got sick, apparently my Mother has developed Parkinson's disease, just like her mother before her. It was VERY sad and confusing to watch my mother interact with the shell of my amazing and incredible grandma. It hurt so much to witness that pain. I didn't FULLY notice everything that was going on at first, because I was TOO damn young. Now that I'M the one that's going through being bedridden for close to 5 YEARS, I understand some ways that my grandma might've been feeling during that period of time. I feel so bad for not FULLY understanding what either side was feeling during that time.... Now, I woke up to find out that not ONLY have I been going through this GBS CRAP, but to ALSO find out that my Mother now has Parkinson's, JUST like her mother had... Starting around 25 years ago... LIFE can REALLY be so damn crazy sometimes
@@youngtc7754 Oh that's so overwhelming to hear. Do doctors know when you'll be able to be a free human again? Walk and leave a rather or total normal life? Wish you the best, truly. Also to the original poster, you blessed others with your efforts. You are an amazing person. Taking care of ONE ill person is already so tiring, also even emotionally to see them struggle, imagine taking care of 5. Bless you. You're awesome
Well if it helps, you're supporting this man's work simply by watching this video and commenting! I hope you're in a good place and my condolences to your lost loved ones❤
Thank you for sharing your story, examples like you ma'am are what keeps humanity alive for me, selfless actions and compassion is what the world needs right now...Wish and pray that you receive all the love happiness and prosperity 🙏🏼🌸 ❤
I feel your story. Thanks for writing it. God is going to bless you with heaven. Because that is a Place of love, and you have loved your family deeply and mightily.
If you can buy simple food, pay your utilities etc I’m sure even if you are physically not capable of maintaining your own lawn, you can still put few $$ aside here & there to look after it!! This isn’t pride of ownership of home this is neglect! 🤦♂️!!
Love it, man speaks the truth and don’t f*ck by making them believe he’s some Good Samaritan. No, he explains exactly how he can charge it for free and how he makes his living. Plus, he’s setting a good example of hard work. We need more people like him.
i think this is why everyone loves free mow fridays. because everybody takes something away from it at the end of the day. house owner gets a weight off their shoulders a new garden. tim gets social media interactions leading to potential brand deals, sponsorships, giveaways and adsense revenue. and the viewers get a wholesome asmr video. It's a fantastic model to build a youtube channel off. It's why Mr Beast is #1 Right now. Transparent videos with a positive incentive.
They probably are embarrassed or even offended. Your property condition says a ton about the kind of person you are and maybe they feel ashamed that someone nicely conveyed that they are messy ( even though its a very nice gesture). Just assuming.
@@tommyapples8490 I still do not understand it. I saw a couple at the store I was at, trying to get a purchase in their car & no way was it going to fit. I felt sorry for them & offered to take it to their home in a local mobile home park. I followed in my SUV & helped take it to the door. Same situation - barely a ‘thanks’ - so strange. If someone did that for me, I would give them $5 for gas or thank them profusely at minimum. People are hard to figure out.🤷🏽♂️
@@davisholman8149 I know!. I stopped trying to figure people out or even ask why they do what they do sometimes. I just accept that they act or are that way and move on and treat them accordingly. My motto is to be nice to everyone and respectful until they don't do the same.
@@MoonV29 it’s nontoxic paint just meant to make your grass look green instead of brown/yellow. Some of the paints also have nutrients for the grass in them
Honestly, I love how good hearted this is, and that it's a win/win for everyone involved, given it seems like this bloke does it because he simply enjoys it as well
Bro this isn't good hearted this is a job it would be a good heart if he didn't get payed at all and offered the people a free mow but instead he gets people like you to think I'm a good person cause I don't charge anything but I do get a video out of it that makes me thousands and people really think I'm a great person to do that he gets payed for these so called "free" mow for the people lmfaoo it's common sense
@@Yoduh916 its not like he's paying them in exposure or forcing them to let him film. yes, i agree, usually people do things in their own self-interest, and i know of the saying "if something is free, you're the product." but still, what would be better, charge them hundreds of dollars to cut grass, or pay them hundred for letting him film. its like Chairty, they do free work, and get money from other places
@@Yoduh916 : you are a strange and bitter person. While you are so busy criticizing this good man, you resent him stating that he gets paid, she gets a free mow, and everyone comes out ahead. What is wrong with you? How many free mows have you given?
quite honestly i feel bad for the guy, hes obviously making money somehow as hes clearly alive lmao but youtube shorts give almost no money and definitely not enough to maintain a half decent life
@@mcj44 win-win-win-win, more like. cause even though he did it for free these people will come back to him next time for sure and probably pay that time. im guessing he doesnt do them all for free atleast
I love watching these videos. It warms my heart how the homeowners are given this free clean-up. I remember when my late husband became too ill to maintain our home. My attempts to find a reliable lawn service were futile. Even when I did get someone to handle this for me, they never completed the job to my satisfaction. My husband always edged the grass, cleaned up along the curb, trimmed our trees and made sure any weeds were appropriately handled. God bless you
It is, I live in a town nearby and they're a pretty big company, so probably they do like 10 lawns a day so one for free once in a while doesnt really hurt the business considering the amount of advertising he gets with these videos
Man when people do some amazing things it leaves people speechless. She really didn’t know how to respond lol but I guarantee that is something she will always remember and appreciate.
Son, you do QUALITY work! The old dad in me is very proud of you! You’re an honor to your whole family! Thank you for blessing this sweet older lady. I can only imagine how relieved, proud, and happy she feels every time she looks out her front windows or walks out the door. That kind of internal lift changes lives. You’re one of those wingless angels among us being the hands of God sharing love with those who might otherwise feel forgotten or discarded. Your parents must be insanely proud of the awesome man they raised. So kudos to them too!
Google indirectly paid for this woman's front garden to get cleaned. Not bad edit: clearly a lot of people in the replies don't know how monetisation works. Google pays Tim for putting up these videos. Not that deep guys 😐
I really like that you tell them why it works for you financially. Probably lets them feel a lot more at ease. Much better than them feeling like a burden or worse wondering if someone is paying for it behind the scenes.
The only garden clean-up guy who actually cleans up and bags his shit instead of just blowing it all down the street for the City to actually clean. Well done mate!
I love these videos!! Especially the before & after. I also love how you outline the lawns from the walkways n trim the trees. Yes we All love these videos!!!🎉❤
I love how u explain that it's hopefully guna be a win win for u both and that type of honesty is what we should all strive for when being ourselves and with others. Usually it always starts with yourself first because u can't do anything for others until u take care of urself first. Good job brother I'm subscribing now, and thank you for spreading love, care, and compassion to people u come across.

There has to have been at least one person who had done this for him at some point. I would like to think that many people have, but at the very least there MUST have been at least one so far. I wonder if he accepted it.
@@latrans there’s a lot of factors youtube added some new things this year to compete with TikTok in revenue through shorts so I’d imagine he making few hundred dollars per video
He is very honest of why he could do it free of charge. Although it could be seen and interpreted in either good or bad way, and others would argue about loosing the true essence of what kindness and helping are all about, but at least he is giving back something compared to others who are raking up a lot but all to themselves. And yeah, he got to earn a living too.
I need an answer to this question. I hope it's a green spray-fertiliser, so like, after application it would look greener, but after it rains, it would then seep into the ground. I really hope it's fertiliser.
You’re a genius for this business model bro. Nothing but good karma constantly being given out and received back. Your hard work ethic is a great source of inspiration for these kids today. I hope your success continues to grow and expand.
I really like his transparency when speaking to the homeowner. It's annoying when they act like they are just doing this work out of the kindness of their hearts. Of course, this work can be brutal, so its kind enough, but most people also need to consider paying the bills at the end of the day. And when you don't treat people like they're dumb they are going to respect your hard work. The yard looks absolutely beautiful!I
There are loads of people on RU-vid now copying this free mow formula and the comment sections are usually full of people praising them for their selfless community work not realising the reason they do it is they make far more from the ad revenue on the video than if they just got paid for the job, plus it's much easier to find customers who want their grass cut for free than customers who will pay you to do it.
