There once lived a pirate named Gol D. Roger. He obtained wealth, fame, and power to earn the title of Pirate King. When he was captured and about to be executed, he revealed that his treasure called One Piece was hidden somewhere at the Grand Line. This made all people set out to search and uncover the One Piece treasure, but no one ever found the location of Gol D. Roger's treasure, and the Grand Line was too dangerous a place to overcome. Twenty-two years after Gol D. Roger's death, a boy named Monkey D. Luffy decided to become a pirate and search for Gol D. Roger's treasure to become the next Pirate King.

What Zoro did after Robin said she want to live (23:30) is called 金打きんちょう（kin-chou),somewhere translated into “knock sword” , pull the sword out and put it back to knock the sword rim, the action is simple but means I use my life to promise you

The fact that Nico Robin went through all of that at eight years old and then spent another twenty years constantly on the run and being betrayed by everyone... Frankly, it's an amazing triumph of her willpower and a towering testament to the strength of her soul that she's only as jaded and cynical as she is now. It's a miracle she didn't become the monster everyone accused her of being, or that she didn't end it all before now. And now, she has real, true friends that will fight against everyone and everything for her sake.

It's always crazy to see that the World Government put Saul's crimes of destroying Navy battleships on Robin. Franky is us. The Water 7/Enies Lobby saga is forever my favourite.

I try to share this on every reaction to this set of episodes I see: After Robin screams out that she wants to live, we see a small cut of Zoro unsheathing and then resheathing his sword near the end (this is an anime-only addition and wasn't shown in the manga): this is thought to be a practice from Feudal Japan known as 金打 (kinchou). Two swordsmen would clank their blades or hilts together and the metallic sound would signify that a pledge or oath has been made and must be upheld (women would clank mirrors together). Since Zoro can't really reach Robin in the moment and she isn't a swordsman, Zoro improvised by clashing his hilt against his scabbard, declaring his oath to bring Robin back safely. Also props to Sogeking for not hesitating for a second in shooting through the World Govt flag.

33:17 yes, an object can "eat" a devil fruit. A member of Baroque Works, Mr. 4, has a bazooka that ate Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Dachshund named Lassoo, remember? This will get explained again as the story progresses but for now the answer is yes, an object can eat a devil fruit.

we've seen it before and we'll see it again but this moment is the single best example of Luffy as a character type that's possible to be seen. IF Robin were genuine about going with the Marines he'd not fight it, he'd definitely not let her be executed no matter what happened but if she just wanted to leave the crew and go with someone else, he'd repsect that. But he knows that she's lying - and not to him, she's lying to herself and has been for a long time now. So when he's told outright who Robin's enemies are and what she's scared of with them resenting her, he does the exact thing that's needed to free Robin of all her doubts. Robin's enemies are his enemies because Robin is his friend and he backs his friends to the hilt regardless of who they have to go through for it. Oh when we get to Shabody you're going to love this side of Luffy.

This is what Im sayin too.. He fought to death when Nami, Robin and (WCI) left the crew.. But not Usopp. He knows Usopp genuinely wanted to leave. And another thing is that Luffy had no idea how useful Robin is. He just knows she's his friend and that's it..

Sakazuki is the real name of Akainu, one of the 3 actual Admirals with Aokiji.
