She Was in Last Moments of Life, Tearfully Trying To Refuse Human Care!
Thalia's story began with unimaginable pain and suffering. The rescuer confirmed rescuing her and was trying to work with the shelter to get her out as soon as possible.
Her fur was matted and dirty, her body bore the scars of unspeakable cruelty, and her eyes were sealed shut by the aftermath of abuse. Her nasal passages were cleared as soon as she was rescued so she could breathe; her eyes were completely swollen and bleeding. Next, the rescuer gave her antibiotics for her nose and eyes.
The rescuer received a devastating update about Thalia, worse than they originally expected. She had a terrible Upper Respiratory Infection and multiple injuries to her face. It was evident that she had endured unimaginable cruelty.
X-rays revealed the shocking truth: Thalia had been shot at least three times. Each bullet had left its mark, causing pain and damage to her fragile body. Despite her injuries, Thalia's spirit remained unbroken. She still looked very adorable, didn't she?
But the news only got worse, it was discovered that Thalia had contracted panleukopenia, a deadly viral disease commonly known as panleuk. There was a slight chance that she had a false positive test as she was recently vaccinated at the shelter. She was suffering from a terrible Upper Respiratory and at that time her prognosis was grim. She was going to remain hospitalized in hopes that she could survive.
