Wow! I cannot believe that these beautiful words are coming from a guy. Please forgive me for being so shallow as to assume men have a certain kind of ways ,but all of my interactions thus far with the opposite sex has been less than sensitive. Thank you for restoring my faith 😊
So true! So often we keep people alive for us, not for them. She fought for Sophia, for what was right for her. Allowing her to go is as selfless an act that you can do.
That little girl is an angel in human form. I don't think she could've chosen better parents! God bless your family, and God bless that beautiful and strong little lady!
It truly shows that children dont know hatred they dont.know anger they are all thats is innocent and pure the love of god unless selfish people corrupt them that really made my heart sigh
We have a severely handicapped child and were told he would only live for 2 weeks. He is 22 years old now, happy and healthy. There have been many hard decisions to make, but we always remember that we are here to do things FOR him, not TO him. I thinks that's what Sophia's parents did also. Sometimes difficult, but always the right thing to do...
My sister is mentally challenged and had a life expectancy of five years. We celebrated her 67th birthday this year and feel blessed to have her every day. God bless you and your son.
GOD Bless you and family for taking care of your 😇 Angel. Keep loving him each day and let him guide you as you have been. Thank you for sharing with us your ability to push thru all obstacles. No one can predict the amount of time we have on Earth, just enjoy and capture all of your moments with him on camera for the future of helping others.
@citylimit33 I mean in the context of love. She was constantly surrounded by loving people who were always kind to her. As opposed to ever having to had personally experienced and dealt with any assholes in the real world. She never experienced a jealous, angry, deceiving, or violent person. It's just the silver lining of a tough situation.
Would you swap places with her, to receive the love? You would definitely not. Think of the pain she’s in. That’s love, stopping the pain, I would never deliberately put any living being through pain. Selfishness needs to be put to the side and focus just on that poor girl.
@@chickedee1085 she is not in pain anymore and situations like these aren’t preventable and disabilities can happen to anyone and or injury’s or being born with defects. Any kid no matter what they look like should be treated with respect and love
That’s sad in a way that you had to lose your daughter but I understand brings tears of joy to my eyes that you made sure that sweet girl had an amazing life
What was the condition that she had? Kind of annoying that they never said, it would've been a great learning opportunity for those of us unfamiliar with it.
@AnnieAwesome-th7qm how bad of a person do u have to be to go out of ur way to say some messed up shit about a special needs lil 10 year old girl that passed away?
@@Petah69420 Maybe if he had had quality love as a child he would have come out different. We have a free will the choice is up to us who we want to be.
@@TabathaTMartin She would have had to experience adolescence and her teenage years. How do you think that would have gone? Then what? How would her adulthood have been, honestly? Parents can only protect their children from the world for so long. I know many disabled people who have it way easier than she does and most of them are miserable.
@@spencerrocchi3388 I get it, it probably would've been harder for her growing up physically....but at least she was able to experience a little bit of life.
@@TabathaTMartin Life is only worthwhile based on the quality, right? I agree that it seems like she enjoyed her childhood, despite all odds. I just can't realistically believe that middle and high school and beyond would have been enjoyable. The mom did a great job with the brutal hand she was dealt, the 6 weeks before the expectancy situation is really what made this tough. I think even the mom knows she wouldn't have carried the pregnancy to term if she had have known sooner. But you're right, it worked out well.
People who can raise a severely handicapped child have more love and courage than I can even imagine. And the little girl was even more courageous than that. ❤
@@boomshanka4173 You be quiet. You obviously have no respect for Adalia Rose and refuse to show any respect for her all because of how she looks. You even refuse to show any respect for anyone who supports Adalia. Now, you're refusing to show any respect for this person about his/her sister. You're such a disrespectful and cruel person. You're also a disgrace.
The way her little sister grabs Sofia's face and brings her close melts my heart. That image will live in my mind forever. Your strength is aw inspiring.
I’m sorry but forcing a person to exist in constant suffering their whole existence for feelings YOU have is SELFISH. You can try to paint it how u want but it doesn’t change that at the root of it, it is selfish by definition.
@@jimmybeanchugger1832 you weren't paying attention to the video, then. They specifically said that they did everything they could to make sure she had a comfortable full life, and only when she started having more difficult times did they say it was time. What would have been selfish is not giving her those ten years to live. What would have been selfish would be forcing her to go through those painful surgeries and treatments that they mention she would have needed. You know what is especially selfish? Murdering babies and children just because you don't want to deal with them or any other consequences that come naturally with certain acts.
its still an existence of suffering, knowing shes never gonna experience everything in life, or rly anything good or bad, and being in constant pain its literally a torturous existence@@ichigomiku8586
@@user-bb4qw7nj7ryo chill bro we know that she has a condition but like chill she’s trying her best Sofia looks really happy to me and you can’t stop her from doing that
Uhh…I’m starting to see why the Swedish government recommends aborting defective children, not only is it costly to not, but extremely painful in the long run for the family.
I believe you made a great life for Sophia ❤😊 she is beautiful and im sure she changed your lives tremendously. What a beautiful young lady. God bless you all.❤😊
She is with God and is doing better than any of us . God is real look around and use critical thinking 🤔 this world didn’t make itself God created everything.
Sophia chose you to be her mom and came to this planet to teach others about love, and she did a beautiful job of it. Thank you, Sophia. You did an amazing job 💛💛💛
You did an amazing and actually Unselfish thing. It takes a lot of time away from family to care for a child of needs. You work so hard. Probably have no time for yourself. Beautiful
Kat H Thank you,...lol but my name is not midget it's just Midge🤣🤣🤣 You are an amazing woman who did an amazing job showing the world your loving daughter and I thank you. 💖💖💖
I'm so so sorry for your loss. I feel the moment she left she sprouted wings and flew. She's free of her earthly restrictions. My condolences to your family.
Dans les pays du tiers monde ces gens sont soit tués ou on les montres dans des cirques. Simplement les albinos en Afrique se font ou manger ou découper et leur morceau servent comme gris gris. Courage à eux et leur famille .notre monde n est pas un monde juste .
My son had severe autism for 21 years when he reposed. Always be glad. God was present with you and Sophia every second. It's not in this life we are rewarded. It's in the life to come after this life. Many call here, the valley of tears. It is. You will receive your reward and I bet when you see your Sophia, she will be so radiant it will be unimaginable. Not in this life. The life to come. God promised. Don't regret suffering. It was only because God loved you and found you worthy.
I an so sorry for what you had to do. But just know she loves you and she is your guardian angel. She will always be with you. Also she is really cute and pretty!
Thank you Sofia for coming here to Earth to teach us all unconditional love. You're amazing, and were so needed . Your family was lucky to have you in their lives.
I remember learning about Sophia on SBSK. We are so lucky for Sophia having shared her story with us. What an incredible little girl! May her precious little soul rest in peace. 😢
So how thick is the bubble you live in? Unconditional love isnt lifes snake oil, or a cure-all for everything bad in it. And at times death is a mercy which was never shown to Sofia. Cant walk, talk, or do any basic things a 4 year old could do without help all the time for everything sounds like an agonizing life long punishment. Does that unconditional love fill her belly when shes hungry without help? Maybe slake her thirst when shes parched when no one is in earshot to help? How about not just getting onto a toilet but wiping her own azz when done, does unconditional love do that for her when sofia was left alone and had to go? Make no mistake, unconditional love is as dangerous as a child with a gun. Just look what it did to poor sofia for over 10 years a prisoner in a living cell.
I think that’s the most selfless thing you can do! Those saying it was selfish are incredibly (but not unbelievably) dumb. She got a chance at life and no matter how short it was, she still got to live and enjoy feeling love and happiness.
That little girl is beautiful the way she is! If i could, i would give her my soul for her to live! Im very sorry for the loss of the child, her little smile is just heart warming, and im sure jesus and god are taking good care of her! God bless u,the lil girl, and the rest of the family that loved her!❤🥹
❤Beautiful Sophia was unlike any child before ❤Her bright Spirit was Strong and she taught you everything that you asked her family needed to know for the time that she was with you on earth and we know when we leave our bodies we get to be in heaven with the Lord and she’s there already waiting for you guys God bless you all❤
The fact that strangers make you feel the need to defend you giving life to your child is sickening. She seems like she lived her very best 10.5 years. She looked so happy. You don’t owe anyone an explanation for your family’s choices. You are one strong Mama 💜
The moment u see her In heaven in her glorified body with our Lord Jesus Christ s gonna b the most amazing experience u will ever have....in this life or in eternity.💔💔✝️🙏
if the poor child wants to live...you respect & support if child does not want to live...you respect & support that too too many people forcing their views on the mother...
I'd sure like to believe she is cause she is owed that! But tbh, seeing things like this destroys what little faith I have that there is a "loving God" out there. Based on what the bible portrays, God is a malignant narcissist.
@@JohnWayne-86ed This is what I believe. Life on earth here isn't what it is in heaven. Life on earth is the aftermath of what took place along time ago. God is here with us waiting for us to make a decision to follow him or the things of this world it's our choice. The young girl is part of the after math she was put hear for a reason something that most of us don't want to understand or believe. She just a very small part of what's taking place . God loves her and took her back God loves you me all who want to love him as for the rest of the world who don't they will soon know why all this is taking place. If you read the Bible and learn what took place and why and what's to come then you will see.
@@JohnWayne-86edwhy that little girl changed her parents life for the positive. When you have someone like this in your family it's a blessing. They make you more kind, understanding, accepting and less judgemental of others. It's hard but fulfilling in many ways you just don't understand.
I'm so sorry for your loss, I could never have let my baby go either, I would have supported my babies the same. Your a mom, you love your baby. You did everything you could. You are not selfish, your a mom. You loved her more then anyone ever could have. Sending you all the love in the world.
Well said @Kelswick92 I couldn’t of said better myself, I know what life can throw at you when you’re a mum from the day you know you are pregnant till the day you die you are a mum who just wants the very best for your children 😊
The crass people don't understand. You were given your little girl as a gift. She probably taught many people patience, understanding ,compassion and kindness. The love you guys shared with her must have been special. Stay blessed.
