that's the creepy part of these celebrity countdowns to 18 - it's people like MGK just admitting that they're pedos and think it's okay cause they're celebrities. They're admitting the only thing stopping them is being caught/and scared to face the law, not their morals. They're attracted to these children.
The paparazzi disgusts me. There's a difference between doing your job, and violating a human being who has personal rights. Absolutely disgusting. She may have turned 18, but she was still young.
I agree I watched a guy (Anthony Padilla) I butchered his name anyways he interviewed the paparazzi and they are disgusting people they said and I quote “it doesn’t matter what there going through I’m getting that photo” and then bragged about all the money they make .
What disgusting human beings. The paparazzi should be illegal. Emma is one of my favorite celebrities, she’s an absolute sweetheart and I feel so bad that she had to go through that.
If you keep the upskirt pics to yourself it's considered illegal and they call you a creep but if you publish them it's legal and they call you a journalist . Noted
It was a technicality, legal loophole at the time bcos upskirting wasn't specifically describes in law, it has been recently rectified. It is now totally illegal, papparazzi or for personal keepsake, it's a sex crime.
What really sucks is the fact that the difference between 1 day and how much it changes the law is absolutely insane. The fact that you are the exact same person and the same mentally but you’re now considered immediately ’legal’ must be terrifying for the young girls that grew up dealing with paparazzi and creeps. I feel so bad for Emma and the fact she had to go through that :(
At least she did not meet Spring Bonnie. And i'm lucky no one else did. That character is scary af. Imagine seeing him standing in the corner of the arcade room while looking at dirty polaroids. I will p33 my pants if i saw that scene
Cause she was no longer a minor the photos were there for legal to take. (fyi I am NOT AT ALL saying that this is okay, but if the pics were taken and sold of her when she was a minor then it would be illegal. So if they took them of her when she was 18 the person who took them wouldn’t get in as much trouble.) it’s really upsetting that they ruined her day- especially her birthday- by doing such an awful thing - edit! *cause people are misunderstanding me- I’m NOT supporting the photographers acts. I read this comment as a question and didn’t realize the person who made the original comment was stating a fact. Pls don’t come at me!*
The fact that it was 18 doesn’t exactly make it legal still cus it’s still sexual contact. She had to make some type of consent before the party or something. Or she just didn’t realize at the time being 18. That and the people doing it were most likely payed and told to. It’s not just the people, it’s the company’s and stuff to. The more Y’now
If you're famous, expect for there to be stalkers. Fame comes with a price If you are a public figure, people will be following you around all the time
This is now illegal btw, something else the papers did was have a countdown to her 16th birthday which is the legal age of consent in the UK. The British press are vile
@@thegreenmage6956 It's very defining, free speech only exists in the UK if you're in the press so they can legally can get away with pretty much anything as compared to normal people voicing their opinion
Because she’s “legally an adult”. That makes everything okay and acceptable in the eyes of the paparazzi and government. Totally disgusting and unacceptable
The paparazzi will be like, " You chose to be in the public's eye. If you are a layman it would have been illegal but you're an influencer". I am just guessing this, I honestly have no idea
Hearing this makes me want to cry. Animals behave better than that. I have mutual respect for both men and women but this behaviour is why we need to support girls/women and have feminism.
@@harryevergreen4587 yea Natalie Portman, she went through the same thing as she started acting when she was younger too, all actresses that begin as minors like britney spears and (currently) Olivia rodrigo and billie eilish have had countdowns for their 18th birthdays and similar creepy shit
@@barryallen5507I do think they eventually got round to making it a law, but back when she was turning 18 it somehow wasn't, our governments for the past 20 years have been disgraceful
She was so happy to turn 18 then the paparazzi ruined it just because your 18 shouldn't mean it's not illegal the paparazzi needs to stop doing that she was 18 years old i feel so bad for her we love you emma watson don't let them stop you❤
Poor girl!!!😭😭😭😭💔💔 I am so sorry you had to go through that!!! As a fellow female I sympathise with you and imagine the embarrassment and possible shame you may be feeling. If shame is there, please know there is no need to feel guilty over what happened...it was not your fault and you have nothing to apologise for.
@@Jiya0394 It’s cause they have permission to do it. And trying to get pictures up somebody’s skirt without their permission should not be allowed in any way shape or form. And plus she just turned 18 so even if they did it even a DAY ago it would be illegal
Let's forget about 18. Even if you're 40, 50 or 60 that should be UNLAWFULLY invasive regardless. And nobody is allowed to take personal action on these paparazzi without consequences but they can somehow harass citizen's to their liking? Something just fundamentally wrong there.
the thing is if she is below the age of 18 it is a case of highly illeagl child pornographie ---- now iit is just an invasion of privacy .... she can sue the tabloit & photographer but a 500 pound fine doesn´bother them
That's fucking disgusting You can hear her excitement that she has turned 18 at the beginning but at the end she sounded disgusted about what they did. I feel so sorry for her.
Just completely morally deprived people. Although it also tells that there is a sick market for that kind of thing too. But it doesn't change the fact that people who do this kind of thing are just disgusting and fallen so low that there aren't even words bad enough to describe it. Ugh..
@@dominicesposito4394 if a lie exposes pedophiles, then it's not such a bad lie. There's a reason why so many people enjoy watching "To Catch a Predator".
@@dominicesposito4394 yes the person who baited out perverts to take upskirt photos should be persecuted and not the photographers who sexually harassed her, makes sense 🤦♂️
This is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe people like that would do such a thing to a girl like Emma. She deserves so much more than just hugs from this. She needs a comforting friend that she can trust, her parents to lean on, her favorite pet that she has, and just some of her favorite things in general. Poor girl didn’t deserve any of this :( 💔
Who told her to wear a skirt? Why is she wearing skirt first place? Typical westren immoral hypersexualized societies with ever-growing beauty standards, that's who! It only breaks my heart that you westren women never fucking learn, like NEVER. You only do when you're taking contraceptives while you're 16 and and being dumbed by "boyfriend" after he impregnated you Absolutely no pride, no dignity or self- valuation whatsoever, and then tweet toxic shit on how you wanna kill all men and shit
Her 18th birthday went from her having the happiest experience and being so honored and proud and excited to her simply being disgusted and disappointed and completely upset about the whole ordeal. I really hate this happened to her.
Too many times this happens. Even with girls that aren't famous. Men... Do fuckin' better!! Y'all SUCK . Also saying your mate is a "good/great guy" WE know what that means!!! He is a worthless asshat.
Absolutely heartbreaking and traumatic for any person turning 18 how sad 😢 I hope those journalist were fired because this was not news but pornography!!!!! Poor Emma
@@ashleydaniel3215 I don't understand how it was legal though.... Men taking pictures up a woman's skirt without her permission has always been illegal. No matter her age!
I can't even imagine how fked up the photographers must have been to literally lay on the street and take photos up her skirt, like they need some mental help
What I find more fked up is that there are magazines and press companies that are willing to pay these photographers for such pictures and the law permits them to publish it.
actually I'm even more shocked seeing the comments, I was really not aware that people are paid for taking pictures like that and that too by big press companies and magazines, our society has such shit mentality :(
Why do I feel like one of the paparazzi’s didn’t think to say “maybe this is a bad idea.” And it just sickens me that there are people out there who do that and think it’s okay hope you feel better
Yeah, I'm sharing this to my social media The retarded thing is that people still buy this shit. I remember people around the world mourning Diana's death. You think it stopped people even for a second from buying your typical spread of shit magazines? I'm going to hazard a guess and say most of these are targeted at women. Ladies. If you're so offended stop buying that shit, for fuck sake.
This shit is so messed up, like- HOW TF ARE PICTURES OF SOMEONE UP THEIR SKIRT LEGAL?! And the fact that it was even PUBLISHED disgust me sfm, I feel so sorry for her, poor emma..
IKR, it’s truly disgusting that people have the audacity to 1, even do that and 2, publish them! I hope someday people who have the power will realise that it’s not right and at least do something to change.
There is actually something wrong with people! Poor Emma she is sooooo beautiful and kind she deserves so much better The pure disappointment and sadness in her voice was heartbreaking 💔
Bull crap moral of the story is don’t be a pervert and just simply sepa Just letting you know this is completely directed to the paparazzi not our favorite witch
I just feel so sorry for the 18 year old Emma who was so excited to have turned 18 and experience the world as an adult. A very disgusting, creepy version of the adult world she got as a present. Can't imagine waking up a new day as a newly turned 18 so excited just to see photographs of yourself on tabloids in the most horrifying manner😖
Turning 18 doesn’t mean you’re an adult. According to neuroscience research looking at the brain, you are always maturing and developing. You’re brain isn’t fully cognitively developed until you reach the age of 25, according to science. But if you follow the law, they’ll say it’s 18 which is a really weird number. Why not consider a 17 year old an adult as well at that point? It’s completely arbitrary, unfounded and baseless. I’ve seen some 16 year olds that act way more mature than 18 year olds. But yeah my point is that we shouldn’t look at the law when determining when someone is considered an adult. It’s dumb.
So... why did she walk over the cameras and let them take upskirt pictures? You white knights REALLY need to think about the logic of these stories before you make fools of yourselves. Also she doesnt know you exist and blindly believing these stories wont help you feel a womans touch
@@pcsheep3978 Same thoughts here. It also have to do with where you're growing up. I find people here are more mature than those of the west who are 18 or older.
I fucking hate paparazzi, they invade people’s privacy and don’t even care.I feel so bad right now and that must have been an awful thing to go through… I feel so bad for Emma and I hope that the paparazzi get what they deserve…sending love to Emma ❤😢
😭My sweet, sweet Emma. I never knew this happened to her. And she stood brave in the face of it all. She’s not shedding a tear. People are absolutely disgusting 🥺
That’s so fucking gross what the photographers did. There was no consent whatsoever and that was just plain harassment. The photographers who did this should honestly be sued.
She is one of my most favorited actors because of a lot of movies she’s in and just overall how great she is and people do horrible things like this it f*cking sucks
Why is it legal though? I mean, if she consented to the photos being taken/published, then it would be okay I guess. But she didn’t. She was just trying to celebrate her birthday, and celebrate being 18! Some people are just disgusting! And the fact that they probably would’ve done it to her before she turned 18 if it weren’t for the law makes it even worse
I don’t understand why it’s like that and its frustrating! But I guess since she an adult it’s “ok” even though it’s not in any way (this isn’t targeted to you I was just at saying what I thought)
I'm pretty sure it's Illegal now no matter what age but it's horrible that it happened to Emma, she seemed so happy and excited to turn 18 and then that happened
I feel for her and anyone who went through something like this. “Upskirting” is illegal in the UK now that’s an independent women who went through hell to get it illegal.
@@harryproductions5211 okay True but my point still stands what she went through was terrible but it's not hell, some people who have experienced actual pain may not like the fact the such a simple thing is hell for her, people are getting killed, raped etc that is true hell.
for those that don’t know, there are literal “countdown websites” for the young-minor in the limelight that countdown until they are 18 and can than post things about them that would then be legal. makes me so sick
If I was an actress the photographers would find it very hard to take photographs of me because I always wear trousers and dark black long shirts and long black dresses that I wear with jeans That's what I wear
It's still a sex crime because they were taken without her consent (at least, I think so-I'm not familiar with british law, but in america it's still very much illegal) so it's possible that she could have kicked their noses in and gotten away with it
Lmao no. This chick literally advocated for feminism at the UN. Let her face the consequences of her politics. Feminism is what caused this degeneracy.
