Yes, I borrowed that phrase because it describes exactly what happened to me. Sure, there have been times I grow weary with life and I'm not perfect but I never doubt His love for us. I had gotten lax about going to church regularly and the mundane life was dragging me down and I started watching the series and it refreshed everything for me. Wanting to know more of the stories of Jesus has gotten me reading the Bible and I'm really enjoying it a lot. The more I pray and believe his words the stronger he is in my life. My greatest desire is to be found pleasing in his sight and when he comes for us I want to go. Very sorry for your loss. No doubt the Lord Jesus allowed your husband to protect his daughter one last time. It's a very tough thing to face for an adult but certainly not something for a young daughter to see. You and your family will be in my prayers.

And so in my dream I was speaking in Arabic ( not my language by the way). and i kept repeating it- didn't know what I was saying but found out through my aunt and now the internet it meant Allah's help and a near Victory within wks i met my husband's and 2 months later we were engaged then we were to be married in 3 months time. I was abroad and in Pakistan in a room I was thinking if I was doing the right thing and I asked it twice while looking up. I didn't say God, Allah/ Jesus/ Yehwah anyways then all of a sudden I saw lots of beings like an army heading to the left side going fast, Their ground started from 6 ft high. Colours was like white light grey, they seemed to be on a mission. Seemed to look like men all similar faces and I couldn't tell if any women were amongst them. I didnt see any wings but as soon as I saw them I was overwhelmed and ran to my sister who was in another room and told her I just saw Angels. Anyhow Through the Grace Of God we got married - that was a long time ago. This is why I believe that Allah is GOOD. I have my proof. I have had a scizophrenia test due to my request but turned out I am Normal whatever that means. I have seen Jesus ( PEACE be apon him) in my dream 1.5 yrs ago landing on a white horse. I Love Jesus to the Point of crying. I believe in Allah and Jesus. I believe that there are amazing GOOD beings on the light side. Billions of great beings and Angels they guide us. Protect us. INSTINCS are from our Guardians. I have also seen not so good things ( and frightened a female demon) sitting on my bed while I was pregnant - I read the smallest verse from Quran that everybody is taught even though I didn't know what it meant. I blew it on her abd she seemed shocked and I didn't see her until few years later. When my mom died or the day she was dying, I was with my children who were young then and feeding them breakfast and very absorbed in making a very nice breakfast for them. Then the phone rang and my brother Jimmy said my mom had passed. I have been very angry and hateful towards my Family for the things they have done to me. Jesus was using personification. This type of rhetoric was very common in ancient times. It doesn't mean that you can't go to heaven if you don't follow Jesus. It means you go to heaven by way of the truth.

She mentioned self love first which is unbiblical. 1 John chapter 4 talks about how we should test all spirits and teachers, and also talks about God’s love and how we should also love. Hi Mary thank you for sharing your experience. I am so torn as to what to think about Catholicism. I am a born again Christian as of 09/2017 with experiencing the babtism of the Holy Spirit and after which my life also changed and became a new creation in Christ. But there seems to be a lot of controvery surrounding the Catholic church. But I guess I could look at it as there is pretty much controversy in all churches and even among Christians on certain topics. Like you said Jesus is the center and only through Him will we be able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I saw recently which I need to see if/where scripture backs it up about there basically being 3 levels of heaven. So maybe the Kingdom is the highest and only through Jesus can get you to that one? Anyway so much to learn in this life, it's crazy. Also I agree that prayer is the ultimate key to managing trials and tribulations we are met with.

Thank you for sharing this. For some reason I find your comment after I attended a Catholic mass this morning, with some Catholic friends. I have been raised in this religion but I am SO uncomfortable with it, also I was in a relationship with a Catholic man for two years and we ended it because of religion (me feeling pressured to convert, starting to fake a personality I didn’t have). Going to the mass made me feel so bad, I was even ashamed of feeling so bad just next to my friends, huge feelings of anger and sadness overwhelmed me and I couldn’t stop crying, even if I was trying my best not to. I have a feeling that maybe my heart was so heavy from all the previous things, that the simple atmosphere of the Church and feeling somehow vulnerable emotionally (due to the songs, the "meditation" context…), my pain just couldn’t be contained any more. Don’t know why I am sharing this but your comment gave me a sense of calm towards what happened this morning, that I’m so confused about. I mean, it was so unpleasant I don’t want to go there ever again. But I also long for feeling "comfortable" in religion again. I don’t know how people do that, I can’t, and I just can’t fake it. You maybe gave me the sense that some people don’t fake it, there is some truth in what they’re doing.

@@besetfree5752 The Catholic church isn't just the priest and clergy and the Vatican but all those who are baptised in the name of the father son and the holy spirit by a priest as well it's a body (I would even say some are part of it without knowing it but formally this is what it is). It's just we believe in traditions that have been passed down by the magestrium of the church and that they have authority on official canon dogma. But I know for sure.it is the real church as I have seen the holy spirit guide the church because a lot of the time whenever I go to mass whatevers the reading and sermon is I needed to hear it..I have also spoken in tongues at a Catholic Retreat I have had spiritually profound experience with the rosary and the thing that cements it for me was Gregorian chants because like the church said they provided me healing both physically and mentally. So if you are consenting the Catholic faith I would start by praying the rosary (it's a meditation on the gospel but through a Marian lense not worshiping mother Mary) and to listen to Gregorian chants.

And praying the rosary and to Mary in front of her statue sure does seem like forms of idolatry to me. And have yet to find any biblical support for Catholic practices. You are exactly right. This message has been lost over the last 2000 years or so. The early church was well versed in the reconciliation of ALL back to God. Its the only thing that makes sense. This would be called "new age" by many, not me. There is a ton of scripture that backs up all being given mercy.

I had a waking vision while trying to get closer to Jesus. I could sort of see my soul in a stream of rushing water sort of being lifted. But how do you see your soul? I can't explain it. I was feeling the rushing while seeing the river, and I had the sense I was in it. It was amazing.

where i live, i have seen on multiple occasions ppl driving with one hand, with their phone streaming something they were watching in the other. i see ppl driving while texting, reading mail, putting on makeup... ppl do all manner of stupid things while driving.

In the UK, where I live, it is against the law to talk and drive on a hand held phone, texting and driving is against the law and considered an imprisonable offence, as it should be.

WOW! I died in surgery they revived me, I was in judgement and I knew I was going to Hell and I lived. Soon as my eyes opened I repented! Fast as I could I prayed in case I died again . Dr.’s told my family my insides were so mangled I couldn’t survive and if I did,10 years would be a stretch. I’ve defied every medical and got a life extension.

And all of a sudden I was out of my body passing through the roof and seeing and talking to someone in a very long white robe with a brilliance emanating from him. And he talk with the most gentle of voices,He was longer than I am. And tell me my son ,your time has not yet come ,you will have to return and I did not want to.The Lord talk to me . This memory is still with me everyday. Man talk about past experiences, derive his way of thinking from that past as if it's something reliable. But Lord Jesus is Life, human life doesn't exist because a man sleep with a woman.No the Lord create the soul , It's like a bag with commodity, and without it's nothing. It's a long journey, but as I said I don't like to reply. From the creation of humanity, millions of people have gone through this experience, It's God who give life ,he decide. @@smilergrogan1725 they are God's chosen people yes, but not "Chosen" in the sense of being "better" than other people. But rather in the sense of: "He chose them to bring / introduce the message of salvation (Gospel) to the rest of the people on earth through them. But then, instead of doing that, they turned away from God and they are (Majority of Jews) rejecting the Messaiah that came through them. (until today). They do not accept Jesus as the "Son of Man" / Messiah, for many reasons. So although God (Father / Son and Holy Spirit) chose them as His nation, and although Jesus did come to earth through them, they are not exempted from the guilt of sin. If any one of them rejects the Messiah (Jesus who sacrificed Himself, and took the punishment we are supposed to get for our sinful lives. (Rom 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord ) they are as lost as any other person from any other race or nation. So EVERY one of us (Jews and Gentiles = Non Jews) needs to find a way to pay for our sins to be able to be forgiven and washed clean and to be saved from eternal separation from God the Father. But we can not pay for our own sins. (Since we do not have the currency worth that much). The only currency that is valuable enough to buy off our sins (So to speak) is the Blood of Jesus. There is no other currency that is acceptable for the Father. (Not being a good person, not good works, not giving money to the poor, nothing...) Only the Blood of sinless Jesus, Son of YHWH, who bought us free. Jesus came from heaven to replace the Blood sacrifices of all the Lambs that had to be slaughtered for the forgiveness of sins. Before Jesus the currency was Blood of Lambs and since Jesus the currency is replaced by His OWN Blood. There is NO OTHER Currency acceptable to our Father God, but ONLY the Blood of Jesus Christ His son. For Jew and for us Gentiles, every one - chosen people or not. Christianity is the only religion where our God sacrificed Himself for His people... That is why we do not like to refer to it as a "religion"... But rather a wonderful story of a God who so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) - Shalom.
