I have stroke related numbness in my hand, so I completely ignore the Lamy style grip sections. Doesn't bother me, I just don't feel it. I tend to focus on the orientation of the nib instead. 😁 Sheaffer has suffered some, from the advent of the ink cartridge versions, especially in the 1990s (many available then were pretty poorly made and some not tipped), and after the move to being made outside of the US, but I'm always glad when they still get things right. Not concerned that they're made in China today. I'm not hung up on where they are made. I've seen supposed "Italian resin, assembled in Miami" that you can't convince me aren't just badge engineered Chinese pens (and a design actually made in China first.) There's the Icon. Not necessarily the best writer out of the box, but a good looking pen that because of it's Chinese heritage, you can swap in, for usually under $3, a gloriously smooth and wet Chinese "Bobby" nib, which looks like the "dolphin" tips on some vintage Sheaffer pens. With you all the way with promotion of Sheaffer! Thanks for sharing this!
