When a earthquake comes ..the buildings falls down .. there is not restoring force for the building ... why? Is that because it’s not elastic

its because every material has its own elastic limiit and an earthquake is far more powerful than its elastic limit

Difference between solid and fluid? Solids have a very high shearing modulus but for fluid shearing modulus is 0
