SUMMARY OF THE STORY "SWIFT FIDDLER SQUEAK"
In the nest at the swifts bred chicks, the mother - swiftwoman knocked down to feed her children. And the swifts had no daddy.
One day a big falcon attacked the little birds, the mother, wishing to save her children, tried to get the falcon away from the nest and was killed by its claws.
The chicks thought they would have to go missing without their parents. But other members of the flock brought them food and water, and the leader flew in at night and warmed them with his body.
When the chicks grew up, all the swifts gathered in large flocks and taught them to fly. When the chicks grew up, they learned to build their own nests, facing life's difficulties and dangers that beckoned the little birds everywhere.
In the fall, the strengthened and matured swiftlets together with the whole flock go to winter in warm countries.
