Great Interview. Loved hearing all the details about Mondo's experiences of being an elite athlete at such a young age. I have been following his progress for about three years now (as well as other track prodigies like Jacob Ingebrigtsen, Sydney McLaughlin, Michael Moore, Noah Lyles), and am happy to see that Mondo's prediction of a 6 meter jump proved to be accurate. Wishing him the best of luck in the future and hoping a world championship gold, olympic gold and world record are in his future. His 6.05M jump sure looked like a world record. Kudos to this young man. Thaks for posting this podcast. Another podcast every six months would be nice. Not sure I can wait until after Tokyo in 2020!

For example, if Mondo's father was jumping today with today's poles, he would have probably jumped higher.
