Lulu Sun, you made many a people's day including myself 4-1 odds. The moment I heard that dirty little rat pulled out i had to have a punt on the next lassie she was playing.

Actually think Sherbahn has a point here. Lulu Sun fully deserved the W but I feel Emma didn't play as well as in previous rounds and I think having to pull out of mixed doubles the day before ruined the feel good factor a bit (plus i think she really did have issues, she wasn't hitting the ball like she was earlier) and put extra pressure and attention on from the outside as well as on herself Emma Raducanu has made some pragmatic choices in her career without looking back (e.g skipping the French Open and the Olympics to focus on fitness) but this is the one choice she'd have been struggling with, her one chance to play with her hero and the 🐐 of British tennis on his last Wimbledon but sheer bad luck and timing with the wrist strikes and she had a choice to make... Feel bad for Emma and Andy both as I think if they'd been able to play the mixed it would've done them both some good and they and the fans would've enjoyed it immensely regardless of the result (and I actually think Emma would've won yesterday and made the QFs with the whole country behind her instead of this debate on whether she was right to pull out or not) but it is what it is. Well, at least Andy still has the Olympics i guess before he retires so that should help haha. Rooting for him to win another medal
