I had some help this week. My eldest daughter Denlay loves helping me do do things like this. So we make the most of the gorgeous weather that we had and crack on with getting the interior finished!
Well now. I've had a great hour or so binge watching your progress Maverick, really, really enjoying seeing it all come together! Thank you so much for the mention, absolutely fantastic to see your daughter joing in too! Yay! As you know, i have not been able to make any decent progress with anything in my own shed of late, but watching your channel tonight has made me more excited and inspired to get out there regardless of work commitments and crack on. Thank you to you both and i look forward to your next episode.
And my work here is done...Just kidding, but I did rather hope that you'd be reinspired. You both always seemed to get so much joy and happiness when you were putting your videos out. Plus time spent with your Evie alongside you can't be bought, you have to make the most of what you can before they fly the coup. Work and issues will always be there. Make the most of what you have now 😁. I really look forward to seeing what you both get up to. Unfortunately its along drive to fetch Denlay or she would be here all the time. She really prods me (literally sometimes!) to get working on it. There is going to be at least one video in this series before I get on to the track planning and laying.
Thank you very much! 😊 I'm glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the comment about Denlay. I miss all my kids since moving here but I really miss Denlay's help!
@@Mav_at_Pwll-Y-Ddraig I am mostly lucky as 2 of my 3 kids live within 15 minutes of me (one lives with me still at 32). My son moved almost 3 hours away and I hate it. I miss being able to see him any time.
Great video MAV! Excellent progress 👍 Nice to see your daughter involved in the project, my daughter helps me out from time to time when I can prise her away from her mobile phone and Xbox lol.
@@ModelRailwayShed Thanks DEANO 😉 It was great having her over here even just for a while. Yes the phone is still an issue even as she approaches her 30's lol 🤣
Thanks Dave, I really appreciate your comment. Sometimes it gets tough just to keep going but I'm sooooo close that I just keep going for now. Once the shed is done I'll be taking a break to learn how to properly use Anyrail lol
Thanks Chris. Yes it was great to have her for two weeks. She got everything out for me a put it all away afterwards. That left me with more energy to use on the construction 🙂 I don't half miss her help lol
Thank 😊 Yeah it can be a real pain. In order to have my table saw vacuum sawdust up, I have to attach a chunky part above the blade which in itself gets in the way of what I need to do!
Hi Mav and Daughter. Looking really good buddy. How great with your lovely daughter helping you and great paint job. Loving the baseboards. It's a long window in your shed, will the window frames be able to take the weight ok? Nice to see the top plywood go on, that's when you can start seeing a layout. Thanks Mav. Thumbs up thumped 👍 ....Pete....
Thanks Pete. Having Denlay seriously gave me a boost that was very much needed. If she was still here I'm pretty certain I'd be finished by now lol. The window frames are surprisingly strong especially when using the type of shelving that I am. Tbh I could do with swapping those with the ones on the opposite wall that I'm putting up ATM which are half the width. They're a similar system but different enough that the entire systems have to be swapped out. We'll see. Thanks for the comment and happy modelling 😊
She loves doing it Brian and is looking forward to the actual track construction. Yeah that was the only slip I've made with the multi tool. Still have all six fingers and tbh I think it looked worse on camera 😂
Thanks Timber...I think. I'm blue? What am I? The world's biggest smurf? 😂 I would tend to agree with you regarding the hand saw; not only quicker but a whole lot more accurately. But my not being able to stand and saw makes it very awkward 😊
