Very funny. Reminds me of my brother being jealous of my finds a couple years ago and asking if I'd show him where I keep finding em...I said, sure, you want me to toss a few back for you to find? 😂
I feel like that probably happens all the time in states where there are "shed seasons," dudes just go stash a bunch and go get them once the season opens.
I really don't know much about shed hunts other than a guy I know that makes handles for knives and stuff out of the antlers. I have heard there are states that are making it illegal. So now I have 2 questions. Why are states making shed hunts illegal and do people really pay to go on shed hunts?
Animals in their wintering range are being harassed by shed hunters, so some states put a season where you aren't allowed to pursue them until after the animals have dropped their antlers and are moving back into their summering grounds.
Funny as hell--- it is getting crazy out there-- shouldn't these kids be working a full time job. Instead of dicking around -- thinking they can retire on shed hunting 😂
