In early July Ivan and Suzie popped down to Italy to take part in the Abruzzo Gran Tour in the Ferrari 250 GT. www.abruzzograntour.com/home.
This was a fantastic 5 day event in the Abruzzo region of Italy, starting and ending in Avezzano. There was a wide selection of fantastic cars participating, with more cars joining at the weekend.
They drove along some spectacular roads in national parks such as the Gran Sasso and visited beautiful historic towns such as Atri and Pecasseroli. They even visited the Fucino space station and dined on the Adriatic coast. Plus there was the opportunity for Ivan to drive very enthusiastically on closed roads around Avezzano on the Saturday night.
The car ran beautifully and they had a marvelous time.
