Its mad to think Shed 7 in 2024 have just had there first number 1 album. And Liam Gallagher and John Squire are number 1 in the charts with just another rainbow. Love this song and band so much. Nothing beats the best decade for youth culture. The 90's were amazing
From the wonderful days of Raving through to the wonderful rock n roll from these bands as mentioned above. Awesome decade to be out there without a care in the world. Everything was so much simpler then. ✌️👍✌️
in the 90's they were somewhat overlooked in the press (ie, the Social Media of the time, for the younger ones watching) because all that attention was on Oasis, the Roses and Charlatans et al, needless to say, this song stands up there with the best of it's time, a classic, thank you fellas
Nice one ladz on ya No1 album...This song is evidence of the magic riffs and lyrics of Rick and Banksy....l love Shed Seven.....they write such memorable tunes....long may they reign......!!!!!
Saw them last night in Brighton and they’re still as fresh and fantastic as they ever were…if you get a chance see them live, you won’t be disappointed!
Technically 'Cool Britannia' was 1997 and perhaps a bit after - it was a Blair pre-election social marketing strategy, which worked admirably and just happened to line up with most of us having money in our pockets for the first time.
I remember being introduced to The shed 7 drummer blind drunk not knowing who he was at the back of the Verve gig at v98 Leeds, he was so cool and down to earth I said I was going to see them the following week at the reading festival, he said he would look out for me although sure it was tongue in cheek. Nice one Alan Leech
I feel like i can relate to this to this song because im starting GCSE's in September, so I've suddenly realised how different life is now to 5 years ago
I've listened to this track a million times NICE ,but until today never seen the video ! After I've watched this a million times I'll leave another comment.....I may be some time 😁
I'm looking for a song between the mid 90's till 2005, I always thought it was Supergrass but it's not. I only remember the end of the song with the lead signer (a young man) singing haha-haha what-a-ta and then a men choir reapeting haha-haha what-a-ta with a depper voice, thanks a lot
I never said never ever You took the words right out of my mouth Is the sea your sunshine have we been told The sea is you lifeline you're going for gold You took the words right out of my mouth Time and time and time again I look to me my only friend Time and time and time again Are you here for my pleasure Or are you going for gold Are you going for gold I never said never ever You took the shine right out of my smile Is the moon your nighttime have you been sold The moon is your lifeline you're going for gold You took the shine right out of my smile While my mind is blind again I look to me my only friend Time and time and time again Are you here for my pleasure Or are you going for gold Are you going for gold
