It'll probably need to sit quite far out from the wall behind because of the flue being so far back. It's a nice looking stove. Way to big for my van. I'm not sure those little gashes' are meant to be in the bottom, they're in a strange place and not round either. They're probably from over clamping for laser cutting as the steel is quite thin, the clamp set too tight ( just a guess ) It won't matter anyway either way. The Cubic Mini by design is totally different as it uses fire brick to intensify the burn and with secondary combustion it burns very clean and efficiently. The fire brick help distribute a more even heat throughout the burn. A little bit expensive though and I'm not very fond of 3" flues. Looking forward to seeing it in place and working. I love the large window, my favourite part of this stove really compared to most others except the Cubic Mini. Most people that get the Cubic Mini wish they had got the Grizzly for the bigger firebox, hotter and longer burn times. They fall for the cuteness of the Mini but find it a pain cutting and chopping wood so small, some even end up upgrading to the Grizzly. I don't think you'll have this problem.
