It's time the chickens graduated from the stage 2 brooder and into their big girl (and boy) house. I start the frame out of the interior and its officially move in day! #thedenmanhomestead #chickencoop #chickens
This was such a fun video to watch. Kudos to you Stephanie for taking this project on and rocking it! The screen door is so cute and adds so much charm to your chicken coop. I too am impressed with your addition to the drip irrigation system. So many women on Morrow Hill are a testament to the fact that you don’t always need a man to accomplish great things! ❤️🙏
Wow Steph. You are amazing. No plans or sketches, just winging it . The only way you learn is jumping in and doing it. You remind me of my younger self when it comes to getting things done. Love watching your projects. ❤

You’re gonna have some happy chickens there and a beautiful garden. Love your journey and love watching it along the way thank you for sharing your life with us love the whole family on Morro Hill.
Such innovative improvements on the chicken coop! I love how the new chicken coop door worked out and how the original metal doors can still be used for added weather protection! 🐔 😊😊
Steph you did a awesome job on your coop. Your carpentry skills look great to me. Love the screen door to. It's really cute. Ya'll are so talented. Your chicken's are gonna love their new home.
Awesome job, Stephanie. This is one of the best-looking, well thought of chicken coop built. You and Buddy are doing such a great job on your garden and fruit trees. You all have a continuous Blessed day 🧡
I totally get what your doing with the coop…great job! And never apologize for your carpentry work…everyone learns by doing and each project you do you learn more! And BTW…I love the screen door!
You are an inspiration ! The coop is adorable and functional! It amazes me the way you jump in and tackle big projects. You can feel how proud of you Buddy is ! ❤
I am so proud of you Steph, you are an inspiration to all Women 🎉 That is about the prettiest chicken coop, and pen that I ever seen. It just looks so clean. 💖🙏
Good Morning Stephanie and Buddy ❤ That is the prettiest chicken coop I've ever seen! There is definitely no shortage of talent in your family! Your place looks amazing! Great job. Enjoy watching your videos! ❤
Great job Stephanie!!! Way to show some Girl Power! 🎉 when I was your age, I was the same way, could do anything I wanted on my own. I even rode motorcycles. I love your ingenuity and how you incorporated the tarp for easy clean up and composting. ❤🐓🐣
Stephanie, your coop is adorable. Love the door. Plant a climbing rose back by your run on each side and a flower pot on each side of the door. You are going to have some very happy chickens. Have you seen some of the cute things people put in their runs for their chickens? One thing is a bicycle tire turned sideways, it spins around like a merry-go-round. Big tree branches they can jump and climb on. A big tree stump. There is also a thing you can put a whole head of cold iceberg lettuce they can munch on in the heat of the summer. It clips to the side off the ground and they can walk by and take a bite of some juicy cold lettuce. Also, some apple cider vinegar with the mother is really good for them in their water. You can research that. Good job! Pawpaw is so so proud of you! When he speaks of you it comes straight from the bottom of his heart, you can hear it in his voice ❣️
I am very impressed with your industriousness. You look at a project, research it, and then you tackle it. You are a super woman. Also, your projects look nice and tidy when you are finished. You are a great example to your children, nieces, and nephews . Also you have a loving gentleness about you. I hope you and Buddy will do more cooking videos and do some cooking videos together. Like how you would make a family dinner together. Jami found a big can of zip tights that she says she will not use up if you need more zip tights for the chicken 🐔🐔🐔 run.
Steph you did a fantastic job on the screen door. I like how you kept the original door in so you could close it for what ever reason. I love the repurposed door.
Love the coop door. Looks great so far. Chickens will love it. I like your idea on the tarp for cleaning the coop that will save time cleaning plus composting.
Omgosh Steph, you have done an amazing job with the chicken coop. I the door is awesome and looks so cool. Thankyou for taking such good care of your chicks. They are going to be happy and give you many eggs for all your h a rd work.
Well done Stephanie did an awesome job with the chicken coop. Love how all the coops are different and have your own unique touches to them. Everything is looking so good. Have a great weekend take care and God Bless. 🙏💕🧑🌾
That's a great job Stephanie and the screen door looks so unique. I'm somewhat Jealous cause my first door I made didn't turn out that good. you go girl!! 👍
Lester has 3 squares, go take one from him. LOL!!!! Now that Jami has organized his tool room you can see all the tools he didn’t know he had. Ha ha ha ha!
The coop looks great. The inside nesting boxes also mean one less spot for a predator to try to break in. As you said you can add the other "outside" one if needed at a later date.
Hey Stephanie and Buddy ❤️ the chicken coop is so awesome. Stephanie you are a super woman, the door made it look so pretty ❤️ the chick's look like the love it. Love y'all and God bless you and your family and all the animals and feather's 💕💕💕💕💕
That’s really a good job 4 having no help Steph Buddy should be proud u take the challenges that u do it’s a good way to learn things on your own 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🐔🐔🐔
Steph, I love your chicken coop❣️ You remind me of Kim, all the DIY projects you’ve done ❤ The door is so pretty, adding a special touch. Your chickens will love their coop. Happy chickens, happy eggs to come 😊❤
Wow Steph! That coop looks great! I’ve never framed anything and I was watching closely and your end result was so nice with the vintage door. You are talented with making your visions happen. I especially like that small hardware cloth used on the door. The actual chicken wire over the run is bendable and perfect for a cover. I’ll be helping my son fence in his garden to his new home he’s moving into at the end of this month because they have a lot of deer that come in the evening and morning. It’ll have to be over 6’ high with a gate. The garden itself is only about 12’x12’ so I think chicken wire with T posts should work. If I use cattle panels the bunnies, squirrels and gophers will get in. ThNks for sharing, I always learn something new from you!
I am in total awe at such an amazing and beautiful looking chicken coop. You Morrow women sure are handy with power tools and your construction skills 🙌🏼
❤ not bad Stephanie for your 1st time! ❤ It looks really nice! I saw some little gaps around the edges. Maybe you can fill them in to avoid snakes getting in.
I will give you a piece of advice always, always research what you're going to do before you start your project. You will have less chance of having to do it all over again & less chance of ruining your materials and having to buy more. Just food for thought good luck. 💕💜👍🤗 Oh, great job Steph! 👏👏👏
Good morning Stephanie and Buddy. You are coming right along with the coop Stephanie and it's looking great! Have fun at baseball and I hope y'all enjoy your day!
Good morning Stephanie and Buddy ☕🌞You re just amazing like your mother in law💞I wouldn't know where to begin, very intimidating 😁 I love the chicken front door, I m jealous, I d love that on my front door 😁Great job ! Thank you for sharing🥰
You did an amazing job on the chicken coop. The screen door is so cute and gives it a special almost “gingerbread house” look. I’m thinking the chickens are going to love their new house & run. Good job Steph.
