This is simple. If you talk trash before the game and then get worked, you get to receive whatever the other team wants to throw at you. Period, full stop. If you don’t want what comes next, do t talk s***
And really... Chapter 1 was last year when the head coach of CSU talked about Shadeur's grandmother and Dad by implying that Coach Prime wasn't raised right.. because of his sunglasses and hat blah blah blah.. 💯💯
I wouldn’t call it “trash,” but what occurred before the post game meeting between Sanders and Fowler-Nicolosi was the whole point of Josh’s podcast. What did you want?
@@tacticalmattfoley What wrong? Why would this guy wanna shake the hand of someone he clearly has no respect for? Why fake it? Too much faking going on in the world.
@@MercyMe3 tradition....that's what we've always done at the end of a football game win, lose or draw. There's never a time when being the bigger person is a bad play......
There’s just a percentage of a certain demographic that’s going to find issues with ANYTHING Colorado does. They might as well do what they want, damned if they do damned if they don’t.
Enough with this nonsense lmao. I had a black head coach that would chew us all out for not being good sportsman after the game. Thank God he wasn’t as soft as the rest of yall. Actually teaching us how to be men instead of boys
@@jakenbake9878 It's about who it is that's the problem. It's not about the sportsmanship stuff etc. etc. It's about who it is that did it. That's the real problem. I say enough with the dishonesty.
What they also didn't see was how CSU obstructed Colorado running out of the tunnel. Like some of their players legit stood in the middle of their team as they were coming out. CSU was out of control and deserved that L on and off the field. I've NEVER see a team/player stand in the middle of where another team runs out before kickoff.
Deion Sanders didn’t shake a lot of people had in the NFL and college football and he’s one of the greatest Tom Brady did not shake a lot of people’s hands in the NFL and he’s one of the greatest
I love that Colorado is bringing back the trash talk to sports. I don’t get the hate. Tired of this, “they’re a great team. So talented love the coach. Love the players.”
God forbid if they had a camera on me when I was in my early 20s. However, I will say if someone is being disrespectful to you and extends to shake your hand and when they do you refuse it I think that’s normal. What I see is a grand agenda to attack a player because he has a competitive attitude or maybe that’s because we are in an era, where they don’t want you competitive.
@@tswagg504 I was in the army infantry and they could of sent our paychecks straight to the strip club 🤣 when we would go to the bar we had to have exit plans in place because we had a prior service marine infantry that liked to fight. He punched a guy just because a guy asked him what kind of shoes he had. I will never forget asking him why did you hit him before all hell broke loose. R.I.P. Stipes
Very flexible goalpost Shedeur is not a power 5 QB lol @ Shedeur going 1st round Just a few of the many many proclamations by tantrum throwing adult males . Just say Colorado n here comes the meltdown. Smh
Give me 5 reasons he’s not a top 5 quarterback? And name 3 other quarterbacks that’s better than him with a bad line? I’ll wait. Shut up and learn football.
The funny group are the ones who don't believe it. I listen to people who say over and over again that they haven't reach their peak and they are not trying to. Some let the ceiling be it. But this guy ain't him.
Since we're telling the full story Josh, it's relevant to note that that interview was given on August 14th at their media day in response to a question he was asked. It didn't happen in the same month, much less the same week. As per usual with anything involving Colorado, the whole thing got blown out of proportion. I thought the kid showed a lot of character walking right up to Shedure, ready to pay the piper. You have a paid staff and couldn't get the facts right, but want to lecture people on not having the full story? And then use that as the basis to say you wouldn't shake that kid's hand either? You're as big a punk as Shedure.
Quite frankly I rather a certain segment of America stays bothered by everything CU. The daily sm meltdowns n tantrums by adult males brings joy to my heart. Very satisfying
I love it, respect to him for handling it that way. If you talk down on me through the media then don't switch up when you see me in person. Thats a grown man move, keep it consistent. If you know you know
That’s the problem. You think it’s a grown man move to stoop down to someone’s level. Thats a little boy move. Men turn the other cheek. Just because YOU CAN do something. Doesn’t mean YOU SHOULD. Men show restraint. Little boys can’t handle their emotions. But let’s be honest. Look at their father.
@@user-tz2zz5ij1s yea he took that big hit.. they checked him on the sideline first then he went into the locker room for further evaluation.. it’s all on video…
Show the footage of the Colorado run out and the entire Colorado State team blocking Shedeur from running out. Yea after that, you're getting no respect from me. Bush league team
No CSU cb popped his shit and not once did you hear Shadeur comment on nothing. Yall need to stop being one-sided on tbese teams. Don't blame Shadeur for what he did
@@ParkerH2020whataboutism much? Is this still last week? That has nothing to do with this. What did the governor of Silver City New Mexico say to his dog last Wednesday? Same diff.
Came in here expecting criticism of Sheduer but love that you did a fair and honest take. Even during the game BFN called Travis Hunter tiny after he ran into him out of bounds. I’m all for trash talk but people gotta understand the history not only behind the “rivalry” but the context of last year with the dirty hit on Travis and then the trash talk to the media.
Kudos Mr. Pate for not following the path (shortcut) that other media outlets (big and small) have decided to take on this topic. This is the same CSU QB who also gave Travis Hunter the "too small" gesture during the game. Personally, I have no problem with the trash talk but it's also okay for Sheduer to decide not to engage in a handshake afterwards.
@@caramelpop9427 who said that? Nebraska talked big stuff after their win vs. CU last week. You heard no one from the CU complain, because they earned it.
It's amazing how much attention has been paid to that handshake. All of the poor sportmanship comments. But, nobody is talking about the CLEAR TRAGETING hit to Sheduers head. Thats would be poor sportsmanship, even if it happened to CSU's quarterback.
Much respect for the honest take. I feel like most people would pearl clutch and take the self righteous road. But you admitted to having actual human emotions if in that situation. Thank you
Thank you, my brother for being a real one because they’re not telling the whole story I will subscribe to you because when you gonna tell the story, you tell the whole story and I appreciate you, my brother for keeping it real
It’s actually brain numbing how people will go after CU for RESPONDING to trash talk. they didn’t make CSU say all that stuff but somehow it’s CU’s fault for responding? If people want to hate on Colorado do it over something that actually garners the attention not players responding to other players trash talk
I wouldn't expect my son to shake that guys hand either. They wanted to come out and make it personal. Well, it got personal. My question was this. Why didn't the press as Norvell about how he felt for his players running their mouth. The Buffs just gave them what they asked for. I applaud Sheduer for doing that. He didn't disrespect the kid, he just said he didn't care for him after his public disrespect.
Nah you shake that kids hand, pull him close and let him know what you just did to him out of earshot of the camera. You get to say your word on the matter but still respect the rules of sportsmanship at end of the day
@MemesOfProduction69 they went beyond trash talk. The head coaches wife was disrespectful, the coach was having his kids hit and play dirty. Right before the game the CSU head coach wouldn't even shake the WR coach hand for CU. Shedeur was right in all his actions.
I say that no matter what act like a man and a good sport. Shake the hand and don't hold a grudge. Personally I would never trash talk an opponent or celebrate so whatever I guess.
Why do y’all make a big deal when cu do but other schools and a coach mother calli out if their name no problem. I never seen anything like this it’s just football !
Colorado is the reason the game was a sellout. CSU will not have half the crowd the rest of the season. The alumni are done with Norvell at the end of the season. They want another coach for the PAC 12 expansion.
Nicolosi was not very good in that game and Horton was injured. CU earned that victory but that CSU team is worse than last years. Their offense is not very good. I think their own practice squad might have beat them. That was not a good showing.
They were acting nasty toward Sheduer he's not mean spirited .He saw the video of them talking evildoers plot bringing hatred .I would not shake hands with the Devil either BACK STABBERS.
What gave it a bad look was him leaving early while getting dominated by Nebraska. He wanted nothing to do with shaking Raiola’s hand after the L. But when they win he was more than happy to go out and still trash talk CSUs QB. It’s just bad optics. Maybe a lack of a maturity, we don’t know. All we know is what we see. Anyways a P4 team should always beat a G5 team given the resources. Personally, when the final whistle blew all the noise before the game was over and you shook the other guys hand win, lose, or draw. But I did have coaches that taught sportsmanship. Trash talking happens all the time before and during games. If it’s to the point that it really bothers you even at the end of a game, I’d say you lack maturity.
Guess y’all never seen a boxing or mma match a sport where they literally beat the crap out of each other , they literally promote the fight by shit talking and once the match is done they congratulate each other 🤦🏽♂️ Mike Tyson would literally hug his opponents afterwards even after he said he would eat their kids etc, just say good game move on
Jay Norvell is the coach of Cheap Shot U. and America condones his foul behavior and anti-Black racism towards Coach Prime and CU. Norvell's wife called a CU player a b$tch. What other Div 1 coach's wife behaves as tastelessly as she? She sure represents her husband and CSU well. A stand-up coach would have said that cheap shots have no place in college football and that he promises it'll no longer be a part of his program. CSU, its dean, and students are complicit in condoning Norvell and his illegal tactics. Otherwise, they'd force him to change and play within the rules. Shedeur could have been seriously injured. Such a play would not have been tolerated had he been non-Black. Clean up college sports. Get the cheap shot artists off the field and out of college football. Start with Jay Norvell. His mother seems to have failed to teach him to coach with integrity and to play within the rules. What a hypocrite.
Colorado State is only acting humble now because they got st0mped. They're a trash team. They play dirty, their coaching staff had bounties on Shedeur and Travis last year. Even their head coach's wife and kid cussed out coach Prime.
He earned his right to talk trash they won. If they would’ve lost he wouldn’t be trash talking plain and simple. If he lost trash talked they’d talk trash because but because CU won and CSU lost everybody in they feeling.
👏🏿👏🏿💯 sick of all of these cry babies with their micro aggressions against Colorado it’s so childish and pathetic. Say what you want about Sanders (Dion) but he took over a trash program, brought life and moral, and now people actually attend the games, plus everyone is watching in the nation, love it!
We know why Shedeur got criticized. Young black dude making money & he's Prime's son. But where's the criticism for Fowler-Nicolosi for talking all that shit?
I respect people who trash talk before a game. You are so confident you don't care if you give the other team bulletin board material. You want the smoke. At least the CSU guy didn't run and hide. He sought out Sanders and offered him a handshake after getting embarassed. Props to him. Sheduer could have taken the high road and let the scoreboard speak for itself, but instead decided to act like a child.
Thank you thank you thank you for giving content to this because i would have done the same thing. Keep the same energy. Michael Jordan said it’s easy to talk before the game or when you’re winning but can you do it when you lose or losing and obviously the QB and WR from CSU can’t.
All players trash talk before and during a game but after the game all is said and done this is nothing new. You are just sucking up to the Sanders family
Its the target hit to shedeur during the game. Thts gt shedeur acting tht way. He couldve been ended. Dont play csu no more. Thy too drty. And the refs are terrible just like last year. Thy r in on it
@@Jrm-xs9qi It's all about development and improvement. Both coaches were in their first year last year. Both are now in their second. Rhule and Sanders are taking entirely different approaches to develop their teams. The game 9 days ago showed why one is working and the other has repeatedly been told it won't and it isn't. Nebraska has drastically improved. They're 3-0 and ranked. Their offense and defense are in the upper teams for stats. Colorado is 2-1, their defense is ranked in the 90s out of 133 teams in stats, their run game is 127 out of 133, and has struggled to the point where even CU fans are wondering if Sanders is the right person for the job. They're actually basing a lot of this off of last year's NU/CU game to THIS year's NU/CU game. You want to talk about last year, tell us what have you done lately? I'm talking about this year. Improvement. CU getting the #2 kicked out of them. LOL! Get it? 2? Shedon't? Get it? 🤣😅😂
be a man and show how much better you are and how little the trash talk gets to you. People already don't respect you and you just give them another reason not to like you. You aren't your daddy.
I have no doubt that had CSU’s QB apologized or shown an ounce of humility for what he said, Shedeur would’ve obliged his handshake but I can’t fault #2 for calling out the disrespect 🤷🏼♀️
