Ingredients
Full-fat Milk - 1 Liter
Vermicelli - 1/3 Cup
Pitted Dates - 10 Nos
Chopped Cashew Nuts
Sliced Almonds
Chopped Pistachios
Chironji Seeds - 1 Tbsp
Raisins
Sugar - 1/4 Cup
Cardamom Powder - 1/4 Tsp
Rose Essence - 2 Drops
Ghee
Method:
1. Take ghee and vermicelli in a pan. Roast it until it is golden brown in colour. Transfer it to a plate.
2. Take ghee and chopped dates in a pan. Roast the dates for 2-3 mins on medium low flame and keep them aside.
3. Take ghee in a pan and add chopped cashews, almonds, pistachios and chironji seeds. Roast them for about 4 mins on a medium low flame and keep them aside.
4. Take ghee and raisins in the same pan and roast them until they are plumped up. Keep them aside.
5. Boil milk in a saucepan and add the roasted vermicelli. Cook until the vermicelli is completely cooked and milk is reduced.
6. Add sugar and mix well.
7. Add cardamom powder, rose essence and mix well.
8. Add in the roasted dates, roasted nuts and roasted raisins. Mix well.
9. Simmer for about 2-3 mins and turn off the stove.
10. Sheer Khurma is ready to be served!
