@@ilikethis279 yeah the lyricism of drill started in the 90s technically but the hard, modern 2010+ sound started in Chicago, then UK rappers "copied" it but added their own twist which was the AO8s and progressively changed the instrumentals and now it's almost a completely new genre and new York rappers started using the modern drill sound after the UK and used UK beats but now they're adding their own twist aswell by changing the flow
