It would be completely different if it was down south, the government would have saved it by now. Levelling up my ass! Third runway at Heathrow anybody. (14 billion expansion). This Tory government want to see us northerners on the east coast, with out flat caps and whippets. Nothing wrong with holidaying on the East coast, however it would be nice to have an option.

Peel operate other airports successfully - notably JLA Liverpool- so I would want to look at what the traveller profile and services here. There is of course the mess caused by Lockdowns in the air travel sector..
