One of the more popular kalaams written by the esteemed Huzoor Shaykh Ul Islam, Sayed Muhammad Madni Miya Ashrafi al-Jilani, a resident of Ahmedabad, India. They belong to the lineage of our noble messenger ﷺ. They are indisputably one of the most influential scholars of the Indian subcontinent, serving as a spiritual mentor and guide for thousands of Muslims worldwide, including myself, Alhamdulillah.
Huzoor Shaykh ul Islam has authored numerous books that have immensely benefited the masses, including a complete tafseer of the holy Quran in Urdu. In addition, they are a skilled poet, deeply immersed in the love of our beloved messenger ﷺ, which is evident in the vast array of poems they have written. It is a tremendous honour to present one of their beautifully crafted, well-known poems, 'Shehre Nabi Teri Galiyon ka'.
This poem encompasses the love and beauty surrounding the beautiful city of our beloved prophet ﷺ. It expresses love for the grandson of our beloved, Sayyiduna Imam Hussain رضي الله عنه, and in turn, fosters a deeper appreciation for our beloved and their noble family.
I am delighted to announce the release of this recital, which owes much to the support and guidance of my teachers, family, and friends, as well as your prayers and encouragement. I sincerely hope that you will find listening to it as enjoyable as I find reciting it.
