I listened to this lecture today for the first time. Masha Allah, what a wonderful talk and pearls of wisdom from a sheikh who really understands young people and is down-to-earth. Listening to his references to his son was particularly poignant knowing of the recent tragedy. May Allah swt bless his son and brother with Al Firdaus and comfort the family for their enormous loss. When someone from a non religious family reverts, who is anyone to say that person is reverting just because they’re rebelling with their parents? Who is anyone to question their intentions. Or someone that is visiting the masjid often, who is anyone to question or even know that persons intentions? Did they cut open that persons heart to see what’s in their heart? Only Allah swt knows what’s in our hearts.
