They are crying because they are knowledgeable of the meaning. May Allah grant us all to truly understand HIS verse and implement it in our own lives. Ameen.

As muslims we should make effort to learn Arabic, and knowing arabic doesnt mean the quran will have an positive effect on you. The biggest enemies of the Prophet ﷺ understood arabic but they were described as deaf dumb and blind.
Translation is not enough. It is like translating any Arabic text, and the Qur’an is a miracle of eloquence that can only be understood by Arabs who master the language well.
Brothers and sisters . Please , for the sake of allah , do not post videos of the imams crying with the title “emotional “ or “imam cries” because it exposes intimate moments between the creator and his servant ( ie the one who is crying for the sake of allah ) because if they come to find this video has blown up on the internet it can ruin their ikhlaas(sincerity) and corrupt their intentions causing the heaviness of their good deeds to reduce . Please stop this habit . Also you are attracting people to watch the video for the sake of watching the imams and people crying and not for the purpose of enjoying the recitation of the Quran . Fear Allah brothers and sisters and know that one of the conditions of good deeds being accepted is sincerity for the sake of allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala . Barakallahu feekun ajma’een
It was mentioned in the books that Abu Bakr and Omar, may God be pleased with them, cried during prayer, and millions of Muslims knew that. Does this mean that they have no reward!??? Sincerity is to do work for God only, and if people talk about it after that, it will not harm you at all. Imagine if God does not give you the reward for your work because people talked about it. This is a mistake.

Brother, the message is infinitely beautiful but the voice allows for the listener to be more invested and further love and become more emotional of the words. The voice matters. One would not get emotional if the voice was bad..
Narrated Abu Huraira: The angel of death was sent to Moses and when he went to him, Moses slapped him severely, spoiling one of his eyes. The angel went back to his Lord, and said, "You sent me to a slave who does not want to die." Allah restored his eye and said, "Go back and tell him (i.e. Moses) to place his hand over the back of an ox, for he will be allowed to live for a number of years equal to the number of hairs coming under his hand." (So the angel came to him and told him the same). Then Moses asked, "O my Lord! What will be then?" He said, "Death will be then." He said, "(Let it be) now." He asked Allah that He bring him near the Sacred Land at a distance of a stone's throw. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (p.b.u.h) said, "Were I there I would show you the grave of Moses by the way near the red sand hill." حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ " أُرْسِلَ مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ إِلَى مُوسَى ـ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلاَمُ ـ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُ صَكَّهُ فَرَجَعَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ فَقَالَ أَرْسَلْتَنِي إِلَى عَبْدٍ لاَ يُرِيدُ الْمَوْتَ. فَرَدَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَيْنَهُ وَقَالَ ارْجِعْ فَقُلْ لَهُ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ عَلَى مَتْنِ ثَوْرٍ، فَلَهُ بِكُلِّ مَا غَطَّتْ بِهِ يَدُهُ بِكُلِّ شَعْرَةٍ سَنَةٌ. قَالَ أَىْ رَبِّ، ثُمَّ مَاذَا قَالَ ثُمَّ الْمَوْتُ. قَالَ فَالآنَ. فَسَأَلَ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُدْنِيَهُ مِنَ الأَرْضِ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ رَمْيَةً بِحَجَرٍ ". قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " فَلَوْ كُنْتُ ثَمَّ لأَرَيْتُكُمْ قَبْرَهُ إِلَى جَانِبِ الطَّرِيقِ عِنْدَ الْكَثِيبِ الأَحْمَرِ ".
