She already has my stamp of approval for her thought processes & her VERY clear understanding of what a great leader is.... now all she has to do is do what she has said and I will back her for as long as she is at the helm. (just like I did with Martha and did NOT with ANY ownership we had before her) Congrats Sheila we are counting on you (active fan since 1969)

We've been rebuilding since 1957 - which was our last World (United States) Championship. I've listened closely to this interview and while I can only hope and pray that this change of face in ownership will lead to positive results (winning), I am just not convinced that the right piece was placed to change the conditions of our losing culture. Mrs. Hamp really seems like a nice person and out of my own personal pain, frustration and self interest, I am sincerely rooting for her. But my fear is that while she was raised by a wonderful Mother and Father, she was mentored professionally by a perennial loser. This interview did nothing to make me believe that change is coming. Sorry, that's just my objective view. Hope I'm wrong #OnePride #DetroitVsEverybody

She's already leading this org the right way...I think just acknowledgment of social injustices, police brutality and racism are pivotal to making a very horrific wrong right! It will bring the team together in more ways than anyone can fatham..Her mother was from a much different era,that mindset is not productive when it comes to race relations and racial equality..Hamp understands that we as ppl have to look in the mirror and ask ourselves what have we done personally to change that narrative. I've seen our Off Coordinator and Def Coordinators cry on tv,from the emotional toll and burden black Americans go thru everyday. I've seen O lineman from rural counties who never really knew it was this bad,finally say enough is enough! We have to listen and learn and be there for our brothers, it's already bringing guys closer and there hasn't been one snap played yet.

When you inherit an ownership...THAT'S not exactly the league opening up jobs for women!! lol....Her mom shocked EVERYONE when she fired Mayhew and Lewand so quickly!!....we'll see if Sheila has that same quick 'hook" if the lions have another bad year with Quinn/MP.....I hope they DO have a good year, because a NEW coach always takes 'time".....and I'm getting sick of waiting

Let me just say this real quick, I want to thank the Fords for keeping the Lions in Detroit all of these years there's so many ungrateful spoiled brats in this town who don't realize if we had a different owner like a Mark Davis or Dean Spanos owning this team this team would've moved away from Detroit a long time ago. At least the Fords have kept the team here and I hope under Sheila's tenure that the team will eventually win a Super Bowl so that the fanbase can get off of her family's back for not winning. Again thank you to the Fords for keeping this team in this town.

She brings up the patriots, which we have two main players from. Our coach and our GM. The GM has done nothing in the last five years to improve this team. The coach has been surrounded by controversy since he’s been here with players not liking him. And our record is worse than it was when we had the previous coach. These people act like the fans don’t pay attention to what goes on your after year.
