Chronic pain and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) share biological pathways in the brain-especially if the chronic pain results from a trauma like a combat injury or car crash. The two conditions feed off each other, and a person’s function is often more heavily impacted when experiencing both.

Why can't my docters help my fucking pain from ptsd I can't stand it nomore

Because doctors and even therapists don't understand the connection. My pain began gradually, and with each long term trauma, it got worse until I was disabled and had to quit my job. My muscle tension is so extreme that I have trouble using my arms and hands. Even laying down is painful. This began in the early 80s. Not one single doctor has known how to treat it, not one single therapist has helped me. 23 years of CBT didn't help other than helping me understand what happened to me.
