It looks so much better with the lowered wheel wells and the same size tire all around. I couldn't imagine that car being any other color but blue, You hit this one right on the nose my friend, Great job.

Can't look better than this, that legendary blue paint with stripes with those cool wheels. 😎 Those rear arches you made makes this so much better looking and realistic. HW has ruined many casting with way too big rear wheels and arches.

HW seems to like to do "fantasy" versions of real cars, instead of proper scale models. They play up to kids, not us adult collectors. This is one gorgeous restoration! Nice detail work too. So much better looking than HW's original.

Love the paint on this one Danny. The black primer seems to make a huge difference. I don't suppose it will work with *all* colours but it certainly makes that blue look elegant.👌

A superb transformation. The blue reminds me more of Ecurie Ecosse than Shelby blue. I'm so pleased that you altered the rear arches, the original casting made it look as if a farmer had made a kit car from an old tractor!
