Jesus did not need to save the whole universe. Humans are the only sinful beings. Also, humans are the only thing with a spirit, so the only thing that needs to be saved is not to argue, but to say that is not what I think in the shower because the pastor is not as well educated as a 16 year old pastors son.

Let me get this clear so you can understand on what Pastor Jeff is pointing out. God Gave His Son To The World (Earth) To Save Souls (Which are people) And God created the universe to show how powerful he is and to show his great mighty power outside the earth. Creatures and animals dont go to heaven but there are animals that are already created in heaven and animals does not born by sin, And yes creatures and animals have life but they dont have a soul and God created the most majority life that he created is us and he created us humans purposely because we are his sons and daughters. There could just as easily be life forms as close as the moon that are simply too small for us to detect, and we may never discover them before earth is consumed the sun.

If the universe was developed for man, then how come so far, the only part of the vast universe that greatly supports life, let alone man, is only certain parts of 25% of the surface of an obscure planet in a small part of one of billions of galaxies?

This is an easy one to answer, the story of jesus is told through the eyes of those who saw and met Jesus, so yes when they say earth they simply mean Earth, now would God want to save the entire universe? Technically, the bible kind of answers the question: Jesus is the son of man and the only son of god, come to earth to redeem the sins of man. That's the basis of the holy trinity. If there are aliens somewhere that are not born from adam, they would not be saved by Jesus, the saviour of man.

Why He did that? For us sinners, He took our sins in him and even shed his last drop of blood on the cross. Study well, do not let religion blind you instead study and seek God and be saved. Repent about your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and savior for your salvation remember Jesus is coming to judge the world soon. Today, you got the gospel. Now its your turn to call out to God and seek Him sincerely. Jesus is God itself came in human form. You do find Jesus calling himself God in the Gospel of John, or the last Gospel. Jesus says things like, "Before Abraham was, I am." And, "I and the Father are one," and, "If you've seen me, you've seen the Father." Its not too late for you to come to Jesus. Call out to God, seek and study the word of God and you will find the truth. Let the truth shall set you free from all the bondages of disbelief and sin. Seek him now because we do not know at what hour Jesus comes back to judge the world.

This scene is funny and I enjoy this show, but as a Christian I do disagree with pastor Jeff and a lot of his “teachings”. I guess for this scene it would be that he doesn’t explain that Jesus didn’t come to save the animals and other creatures that may or may not exist in the universe. He came to save us humans. The difference between us and all the other creatures is that we humans have souls. And I believe that’s one of the reasons we’re able to have a relationship with God. Also when God created everything, he created all the other creatures before man, but when he made man, he made him in His image, after His likeness. And I think that’s why we have souls and other creatures (dogs, cats, alien octopuses somewhere out in space) don’t have souls. I hope that all made sense :)
You know I’m quite curious to find out if Jesus doesn’t stay on earth not just because god is giving us all chances to be forgiven but maybe Jesus is also not on earth always because he’s saving other worlds that need to be saved because the universe is constantly becoming bigger.

I have heard sheldon argue about how "if the gravity in the universe has to be exact and that is inprobable so that means that god is real" so why has he just all of the sudden changed and arguing against god? I am not a christian but even that makes young Sheldon seem like he doesnt know what the hell he is talking about. So my point here is that young Sheldon is stupid and an annoying nerd.

Used to be an atheist; contemplated suicide but scared of the unknown; researched history, Old Testament prophecies of coming Messiah (around 318 all fulfilled by Jesus 100%); archeological discoveries, witnessed miracles with my own 2 eyes and hundreds more. Proof was/is overwhelming so there's only one choice - God is real and I thank Him daily (literally) for His Son Jesus who sacrificed Himself for a worm like me.

If you see something levitate and you believe in god, you'd say it's the lord doing it's thing. If it was a satanist, it'd say it's the devil. In reality, it's a human just pulling an invisible string. Yet, those 2 believe with all their might it's a divine or demonic entity moving it, and that it's a miracle.
