@Christopher Bingham but that would not make sense, because Shledon cooper was born in 1980 accoding to wikipedia, unless that is wrong. If it 1990, sheldon looks about 6 in this epsiode, so he either is 10 in this episode, or he is 6 and he was born in 1984.

Mary allows Sheldon to get away with too much yes he is smart but he is still a child. She should have told him to march his butt back in his room and change and if he still refused take his computer away for a week or month no tv for a week or month and no radio shack.

@Christopher Bingham Mary was wrong on 2 things first she should have known sheldon wouldn't have to want to go to the party so the second he said he didn't want to go she shouldn't have forced him to go. The second thing is he is still a child I don't give a shit if he is smart and does their taxes he is still a child and he was being disrespectful when she told him to go and change and he said then I am not going she should have said yes you are going and you are going to change first. If you watched the episode, this ended up being good for both Sheldon and Billy. They got along well and they needed each other in a way. Also, this also started both Brenda and Mary’s friendship

Nah inviting Sheldon was the best decision here since the birthday boy actually had fun

Mary did a great job getting Sheldon to go and make an effort interacting with other kids. Sheldon is a special kid, you cant deny that.

But it was Mary's fault in the first place that she forced him to go, when he clearly didn't want to.

Mary actually did great here. The struggle was to get him there, socialize, and hopefully have fun. Yes, he looked weird, but it *was* an important advancement. She was firm while making allowance for his special needs. You can't only punish a special needs child into becoming normal.

Also an example of neutrotypcials forcing neurodivergents to stoop to their social norms when in reality doesn’t work for them. Sheldon believes if he brings something comforting to him maybe socializing won’t be so scary. Mary forced him to go to a party that Brenda didn’t want to go the part in the first place.

@Christopher Bingham this was a very interesting and funny episode. I liked Sheldon’s costume as Mr. Spock it was hilarious. What I really hated is that Missy didn’t want Sheldon to go Billy’s birthday which I consider Missy was being very bossy not letting Sheldon to his friends birthday. Missy is a real punk.

Mary doesn’t need to tell Brenda to invite Sheldon,Sheldon doesn’t want to go,it’s not like he is upset . Brenda never dated George ,just talking to each other and flirting. Mary is the one dating another man,who she wants to sleep with. Kids get left our at parties all the time ,but you do t go to the parent and force them,or guilt them to invite your kid. Mary is the worse,she is a control freak,and does what she wants . Meemaw said it right,they like her better then Mary ..Mary doesn’t he really friends,except for her crush pastor Rob. Who is coveted another mans wife.

@Christopher Bingham Billy and Sheldon don’t hang around each other, Sheldon is in college , George asked Sheldon to help Billy with math ,as a favour to Brenda . If Billy asked his mother to invite Sheldon she would have , Brenda kept her mouth closed ,after Mary was upset that ,pastor Rob ,dated a young girl,who Mary bashed , he insulted. Brenda didn’t mention it,until Mary came in charging,and yelled at her and George . Brenda doesn’t claim,to be a good Christian,unlike Mary and pastor Rob . Mary has no business asking her neighbour ,to invite Sheldon, nor shoukd Mary invite Billy to the twins birthday unless they asked. The only thing Brenda and George do is talking in the chicken coop, and she happened to be there when he had heart problems . I can’t remember if pastor Rob showed up at Mary’s or if she invited him ,but they were holding hands,because she was upset . I’m not even sure if pastor Rob has feelings for her,or if she is just seeing him being kind. I don’t trust him. We are going to have to disagree to disagree, Mary is the hypocrite,bossy, she is even mouthy to her mother ,but runs to her when she fights with her husband. She should be more understanding to Missy, like meemaw does for her. Brenda showed support,when she she saw Mary upset,and invited her over I think they shared a smoke and some wine . When Mary found out about Brenda husband leaving her,Mary came over to find out what happened,as being nosy ,and not concerned. I like Sheldon, and I give him a break,that’s who he becomes in TBBT.

@Christopher Bingham according to TBBT, Sheldon said Billy bullied him, IN one episode,Billy tossed a chicken at Sheldon,which made Sheldon run. You can say Sheldon and Paige are friends,they have hung around together too, they got big trouble together at the museum. Sheldons friend is Tam,they hung around more then Billy and Sheldon .
