Thanks so much for the fantastically detailed review, as always! The constructive criticism is super useful, and I'm taking notes for the upcoming expansion (what I'm calling "Chapter 2" of the setting's story). This game was actually written years before my more recent releases like Riftbreakers or Sacrifice, and I think that my newer games have benefited quite a lot from all the accumulated experience, and I've streamlined a lot of the procedures quite a lot, so I'm planning on eventually doing the same with ATDW.

It was a fun read. The expansion should be interesting. And it shouldn't take too much to bring it in line with some of your more recent things, your design iterations are impeccable enough I feel like I could do a video on the evolution of your systems as an example for other game designers, that is if I wasn't already swamped and backlogged with material.

Yes, iteration is super important for this sort of stuff, and I think I've finally arrived to what I consider the sweet spot of complexity and interesting procedures with my upcoming dungeon crawler "Ker Nethalas: Into the Midnight Throne". Keep up with the good work, you know I've been watching your work for years and it's really cool to see my games featured along other great games.

Hi guys ;) A very nice Review and I just want to add that there is an Online Generator with Player and Monster-statblock Creation. The future version will also contain an interactive spacemap with some sides the community founds.
