My favourite hobby right now is thinking up and collecting recipes using my shelf stable pantry items. I have made a list of dinner recipes for 31 days with no repeats. You are going to help me reach my goal of 3 months of ideas. Repeating breakfasts and lunches is okay with me but I think it is fun to play with the ingredients for a variety with the suppers. Here in Canada we don't have all the varieties of foods you seem to have in the United States. For instance, we have corned beef but we don't have roast beef in cans that I have seen. We have makings for cornbread but not instant cornbread mixes. Fellow Canadians, correct me if I am wrong. I had trouble finding spinach but found it in the international foods aisle at Walmart. Marie in Michigan about ten years ago and was amazed by the amount of Canadian residents that were coming across the border for groceries. I didn't even think about the difference in variety walmart stores would have in Canada vs. U.S. I hope to continue to inspire you!😊
Living in the US groceries and food items very from state to state or region. I grew up in Ohio, moved to Florida and now live in Pennsylvania. In Ohio we can get something called a cottage ham that you can add to green beans and potatoes. I can't find it in PA and wasn't able to find it in FL.

I'm glad I've found your channel. Recipes like these are exactly what I've been looking for. I've found a ton of information on what and how to stock, but not what to do with it. We cook mostly with fresh or frozen ingredients, but I am trying to build up a supply of shelf stable items for the exact reasons you have talked about. Not out of fear, but to be prepared for emergencies and to not be wasteful in the process. I only want to stock up on things I know we will eat and I have a plan on what to do with it. We also like to camp, so it's great to have ideas that don't take up a lot of cooler space. Camping is a great time to practice and try new things, then we know what to stock more of in case of some type of emergency, a night I forgot to thaw something for dinner, or a future camping trip! I'm excited to watch the rest of you shelf stable meal videos. I'm hoping you do something with canned ham, because I've tried one before, but I purchased one from Aldi awhile back. Canned meat products are the main items I want to learn ways to try to make them tasty.

Congrats on being monetized so quickly! All of your meals looked great! I especially loved your last one! We go back & forth with chicken or tuna. We just call it stovetop chicken or tuna noodle casserole. I’ve made it with any type of pasta & protein. My favorite is like how you made it, from boxed Mac & cheese. It’s much quicker & everything is all together(cheese, seasonings)! Thank you! We haven’t had it in a long time! 😄💜
